The interview

He asked, earning a loud cheer from the audience which made the host chuckle.

"Well I saw it and I gotta tell you something, that show really demonstrates why it's called Battle of the Bands. I mean these guys go for the jugulars in award shows like Battle of the Bands!"

The host continued before continuing "And the rivalry between The Awakening and the new band The Breakfast Club! Insane!"

The host grinned "Well how would you like to know about the details of the night of their first loss? The good? The bad? The juicy gossip?~"

The crowed cheered as the host continued "Ladies and Gentlemen, you love them, you hate them, you've seen them be not afraid to punch the paparazzi's face! I welcome you, The Awakening!"

At that moment the crowed applauded as the controversial band walked up on stage, each member showing their distinctive personality by the way they walk and by the way they dress.

Toga waved the camera at them and even blew a kiss making the audience chuckle at how the drummer is.

"Shigaraki! How are you doing this fine evening?" The host asked as the band got comfortable in their seats.

"Well better now that I've had a full night's sleep!" the band leader responded with the same attitude as the host.

"Well it's a good thing you got your beauty sleep, because boy do we got a lot to ask regarding the Battle of the Bands!"

"Then please, get comfortable " Shigaraki grinned

As the interview continued, many of the band members answered questions with the same tone and attitude as they were instructed to do. With Toga and Twice disguising their chuckles as just remembering some fun moments of that night and not the host's receding hairline.

"You know I gotta say, I never thought I'd see the day where The Awakening were to lose. In fact, I don't think anyone thought of you guys ever losing! The idea of The Awakening losing the Battle of the Bands to a newly formed band of teenagers on their first year is insane! How does it feel losing for the first time?"

"Well shock would be an understatement" Spinner muttered as the host ignored him.

"What about you Shigaraki? How did you feel when your band lost for the first time?"

"Well losing to a band like The Breakfast Club did surprise us, given how we never lost to an award show. Much less Battle of the Bands of all award shows" Shigaraki continued "But in all honesty we took it pretty well"

That's a lie, they in fact did not took it well. When Shigaraki returned home he had a screaming fit and almost destroyed his collectibles.

"Interesting...what's your plan now? Is that concert thing you guys do every year canceled?"

Shigaraki grinned at the question and raised his head high "Who said anything about canceling?"

The host raised an eyebrow and leaned closer "You mean it's not canceled?!"

"It's not even gonna be at the same place"

"It's not?!" The host gasped in surprise, the way he's positioned makes the light reflect at his nearly bald head. "Where is it?! Are you gonna tell us?!"
