Can't Stop (F)

Katie Ferguson is a normal lady that loves her husband, Gerald Kemp, so much, and so does he.

But how do these couples work out together?

(No angst, just pure fluff)

After Katie woke up and brushes her teeth, she gets dressed to get ready for work.

But when Gerald woke up and stands in the hallway with his messy hair and his night clothes, she couldn't stop but staring at him, from bottom to top

Gerald: Morning

His deep voice could only stop her

Katie: Morning, love. You're up as usual.

Gerald: Yeah. Last night, I couldn't sleep well but you make it a bit better

Katie then hugs her husband and kisses him on the cheek

Katie: You don't have to make dinner for tonight, Gerald. I'm on it

Gerald: But Katie, I always love making dinner for you

Katie: Let me make something special for you. Besides, I learned it from the best.

Gerald: Alright sure, can't wait for it, love

Katie: I'm sure you can't. Because it'll be made more than love.

They both smiles before parting apart and getting ready for their day

While Katie works as a therapist, her husband works as a chef at a famous restaurant

So they both went to grab some coffee and starts working for their day

Their day has been a lot peaceful and calm, with no stressful situations or complaints from their clients.

Even though some are a bit hard to help, they're managed to get done in a few moments or so.

During Katie's break time, she went to Gerald's restaurant to pick up her lunch from her husband

When she got there, she saw her husband chatting with the receptionist

Gerald notices her and waves at her while smiling, she responded back

Her husband hands her the food and they both left with a kiss

After got back to her place, she was able to eat her lunch, Alberta Steak with some katsu chicken

While she was taking bites, she could taste the love his husband was making for the nutrition he supplied her with.

Then she got a text from him

Gerald: Hey love, how's the cook?

Katie: Tastes like you. It's amazing as always

Gerald: Thank you. I know you would enjoy it, but I'll enjoy your homemade dinner, even more, I can't wait for it

Katie: Can't wait for it too. See you at dinner. I love you

Gerald: Bye, I love you more!

She could feel her smile getting wider and wider until she gets shy and covered her mouth with her hand

Katie could feel like she is the luckiest woman in the world because she has found the soulmate she has been finding all along

After the break, she cleaned everything and went back to work

Katie arrives first at their house and puts everything down

She cleans the house a bit before starts heading to the kitchen and seeing what she can make.

Spanish Paella Valenciana, one of the first food that Gerald ever made for her when they first dated back in the Middle School

So when she starts making it, she almost had a hard time, but in the end, she succeeded

Subsequently, she waited for Gerald in front of their house, and when she could see her husband's car pulling up to the garage, her happiness is over the roof

Gerald steps out and greets her with a kiss

Katie: Hey darling, I bet you're so eager to taste my dinner now

Gerald: You surely know me a lot.

When he steps inside, he could only smell the same joy he had when he was little.

Gerald: That smell... Is that-

Katie: Yep, it's the same smell as when we used to have it together back then

Gerald then smiles and sits down at their dinner table with Katie

Together, they enjoyed their dinner while talking about their day.

For instance, Gerald had an order but when he was done making it, the customer had to leave so he decides to give it to Katie.

Katie: So thats why. It's a shame that person won't be able to enjoy your amazing dishes

Gerald: Well, nobody is a lot luckier than me. Because I could enjoy eating everything you make in the kitchen. I gotta say, im so proud of you for making dinner

Katie: Hey, my husband can only cook at the restaurant. In this house, im in charge of the kitchen

After eating dinner, Gerald plays some smooth jazz and invited Katie to dance with him

As they dance around, they can only remember their first prom as they are crowned as King and Queen of the Prom Night due to them being eerily similar but still complimenting each other and doing things a lot together while also successful for it

Later, they finished their song and get ready for bed

They are cuddling together under their sheets while holding their hands and smiling

Katie: Hey honey, remember when you used to send me letters in my backpack?

Gerald: Oh yeah. I remember it a lot but I still hate it

Katie: The letters are all cute and dorky. And back then, you were a very cute and shy boy

Gerald: I know, and you're the pretty and outgoing girl. Besides, I was too shy to speak to you anyway

Katie: Well me too. I used to stare at you a lot but whenever you look at me, I would stare away immediately

Gerald: I know, and it's pretty cute. Do not forget to mention that when I passed out during our boy scout activity, you got concerned and stayed by my side in the infirmary

Katie: I still love you, then, now, and always.

Gerald: And I still love you, the same you from the past and the present, and forever will in the future.

Then they both drifted to sleep as their concerns are now out of this world because all they have is each other to rely on.

No matter how hard their life will be, they will help and support each other. Katie always helps Gerald with his anxiety and knows how to calm him down the most while Gerald always helps her with new knowledge on new culinary all over the world

Their profession might seem weird, but even so, they may not connect, but they always make it work out.

It's safe to say, they're eternal soulmates and the center of their universes
