FROM GEEK TO CLIQUE

New begining

Ok lets do this.
New day. New school. New beginning. I still feel a bit hurt from that beat up.

And I am going to miss my friends so much. Oh wait...I don't have any. I thought with a sigh. The truth is I am not going to miss one. Not even those horrible teachers.

They never help when I'm practically being clobbered. Sometimes they even looked amused.

Well I might as well go get ready. I woke up by 5 and I couldn't go back to sleep. Maybe I will even actually make friends.

It is good to be optimistic.

I spent extra long in the shower enjoying the warmth of the water. I was done by six and I threw on a purple top and black pants and purble flats and grabbed my purple school bag.

I decided to wear my purple contacts, since it was a new school and everything I wanted to look nice.

I know what you think. Why so much purple? I like purple okay. It happens to be my favourite colour. And yes the purple contacts do look good on me. If you are also wondering that.

I go downstairs and see my mum and dad eating breakfast and I join them.

"Morning, honey". My mum says.

"Morning mum, morning dad".

"Hello sweety. Ready for school today ".

"Yeah, I am". I say, responding to my dad's question.

"We better get going". My mum says checking the time.

When we finish my mum drops me off and I head to the principals office to get information on my classes.

Noah's POV

I keep hearing people in school going on about how there is a new girl and how she is soo hot.

Not my business they should talk about her all they want. As long as they ignore me and focus on her I will be fine.

I was walking away from my locker when I slammed into someone, which sent us both crashing to the floor.

"Oh my gosh. I am so sorry. I was not looking were I was going and. I bumped into you". She said extending her hand.

I ignored it and got up myself. As I stared at her, I noticed she doesn't look like someone I know in this school. And also she apologized. No one in this school would ever apologize to me. They would just shout or ignore me.

Then I noticed she must be the new girl. She noticed me starring and started to blush.

I cleared my throat.
"Watch where you are going". I say with a bored tone.

"Oh yeah. Again I'm.......".

I walked away before she could finish leaving her mid sentence.

I know it seemed rude. But I do not care. The real reason I actually left was because I say two girls apprpoaching her. I don't want to be bothered by them so I left. I don't want her to be seen with me. I will just destroy the social status she suddenly made for herself just by being hot.

Sophie's POV

Well that was rude. I turned around to see what he was looking at and I saw two girls approaching me.

"Hey, do you know who you were just talking to? One of the girls said to me.

"No I am not aware of who that is since I am new here". I said to her.

"Well that was Noah Anderson". The other girl said. There saying it like I am already supposed to know this guy, just by hearing his name.

"And". I respond.

"And he is the most hated person in the school. The annoying nerd if I might say and he has no friends".

"He also thinks he is better than everyone just because he is the smartest kid in school. He also likes to show off a lot".

She makes him sound so horrible and snobby. But I can't help but feel that there is more to him than what they are telling me.

And I am willing to get to the bottom of it.

"Ok. Thanks for the info but Who are you guys?

"Oh. Sorry I am maddie". The blonde with green eyes told me.

"And this is Vanessa". Maddie said pointing to a brown haired girl with dark brown eyes, who is also slightly shorter than me.

I am 5'6 which is an okay height for a girl my age. I'm 17 by the way.

"You can call me vanny if you want". Vanessa said.

"And you can call me mads". Maddie also said.

"Hi. I'm Sophie. But you can call me soph". I told them shaking hands with them.

"Okay Soph. We know you are new here so we are going to show you around". Maddie said.

"Thanks. That would be great".

"Okay. We can do that during lunch. Right now we have to get you to your first class. Which is?

"Chemistry with Mr. Spellman".

"Ok. Lets get going".

Wow. First day and I already have friends. This might just be the fresh start I needed.
