It was early in the morning when the young boy found himself rushing out of the house and running to the bus stop

. "Shit, I didn't miss it, did I?" Hey, stan!" it was his best friend, or as they call it, super best friend, Kyle. "hey!" he replied, "where's cartman?"

Kenny laughed, "he's probably in bed with his mom," he said, his voice muffled by his orange parka. "Is that Butters?" the figure looked like Butters, and you could tell too. He always wore that bright blue shirt and that blonde hair.

"heya fellas! uh.." he fumbled with his hands. "Eric sent me over here, because, err, he's not feelin' well, and he wanted me to be here and tell you what you talk about."

"Is that so?" kyle said."Sounds like him." "yeah..." Butters replied. "When is the bus going to come? Damn." right when Stan said that, the bus pulled up.

At school, Clyde and Bebe were passing invitations for the homecoming party they were having. Stan walked over to Clyde and asked, "Is there going to be alcohol there?" you know it, Marsh." Clyde handed him an invite that looked like it had been done by Bebe and her girl trio. "sweet." stan said as the couple passed by.

"dude, you're seriously going to that?" Kyle shook his head in disappointment. "yeah, so what? you should come too. I bet there's gonna be lots of girls~" he winked.

"Hmm." kyle shrugged. "who said I'd wanna talk to girls, eh?" stan wondered if he was joking or not. the bell had rung, and off to class, the boys went. All anyone could talk about was the "big homecoming party." dude, do you think wendy will be there?" stan asked. "she doesn't attend parties like these. I know she's going to prom though." kyle answered. he sighed, "who are you going to ask to prom anyways..?"

"I want to ask this guy- person, but I don't think they'd be into that.. heh.." stan replied. "you should ask them," Kyle said, wishing Stan would just ask him, though he knew in his heart he liked Wendy.

"Dude, it's not that simple. You wouldn't get it."

A few hours pass by and everyone is at lunch. Bebe, Heidi, and Nichole walk through the doors, silencing everyone as the pupils followed the group of pretty, popular girls. Wendy had been a part of the "squad" but the group was just a mean girls/heathers stereotype, so Wendy spends most of her time during lunch reading.

Today though, she decided to sit with Stan and his friends. "Hey, Stan!" Wendy smiled. "Hey." He said back to her. "Imagine being straight," Craig coughed. "I'm not straight," Stan said, jokingly, though it wasn't a joke. The table had gone silent."What? It was a joke." He said, trying to defend himself. Kyle felt his heart sink.

"You-you guys, are any of you going to Bebe's p-party?" Jimmy said, breaking the awkwardness. "I'm going, that's my girlfriend we're talking about," Clyde said. "Well yeah. I'm going, but only because Nichole is going." Tolkien had joined in with the conversation.

"I'm going. Can't say no to free alcohol." Stan said, looking over to Kyle, waiting for his answer. "I guess I'll go. Why not..?" "Sick, dude!" Stan said, happily. Wendy sighed, "what's with boys and alcohol?" Stan laughed,

"I've been drinking since I was ten." He said in a joking tone again, though he wasn't joking. Kyle looked at him, with a disappointed face. "What? You guys take everything so seriously." Kyle sighed, "right." The school day was over, and Stan was walking to Stark's Pond with Kyle. It was their favorite place to hang out.

"I can't believe the senior year is almost over. We're going to go to college." Kyle was reminiscing about the last school years they had been through. "Yeah, fourth grade feels like just yesterday, all the crazy shit we did as kids." Stan laughed. All this time, neither of the boys could admit how they felt about the other.
