You've had this huge crush on Jake ever since 4th grade and was very lucky because you were bestfriends with his sister, Jane.

"Hey, Jane!" You said on the phone

"What's up?"

"Still mad at you for not going to school."

"Don't you remember that I'm sick?"

"Yeah yeah~ But I didn't have anyone to go to lunch with."

"Well, that's too bad." She said sarcastically

"How are you?" You asked

"Still sick but it's better than yesterday."

"Good to know.."

"Well, I heard that you weren't alone at lunch yesterday.."

"Who said so?"

"Lee Jimin told me."

"I mean, I wasn't alone alone."

"So who were you with???" Jane said excitingly

"Your twin brother.." you sighed

"WELL THAT'S AMAZINGG!!" She yelled

"You told him to accompany me didn't you?"

"Yeah, I definitely did." She smiled

"Same old jane."

"What? I know you liked it!"

"Ofcourse I did! Having a huge crush on your brother has been like for years now."

"So why don't you ask him out?"

"Jane, I prefer that the man asks out the lady. Old century style, y'know. I need a gentleman."

"But we're not in the old century anymore. It's 2022! Girls ask guys out now. I mean not just guys, anyone."

"Well, I still think it's a gentleman thing to do. And! There are so many things that could happen if I asked him out?"

"Like what?" She asked

"First, if I asked him out he could reject me or he has a girlfriend or he-"

Jane puts her phone down at the side of her bed.

"That should take a while.." she said and took a nap

While you were still babbling you didn't even realize your bestfriend was already sleeping.

"Jane, mom called you 15 times already. If you won't clean the dishes you'd know what would happe-"

Jake finds his sister on the bed sleeping peacefully.

Layla runs to her and finds her phone still on.

Jake walks towards her and sees the screen with your contact name on it.

He places the phone on his ear and it was you still talking.

"Even if I turn 30, I'd rather wait for Jake. He'll be my future husband."

Jake laughed and smiled

"Shouldn't I be asking you out on a date first?" He asked

"Woah there! Jane you should stay sick cause you kinda sound like your brother there.."

"Jane's asleep, Y/n." He smiled

He heard a long silence from the other end.

Jake giggled hearing your muffled voice.

"Hahahah Hi Jake! Which part did you hear while I was talking?"

"I'll tell you tomorrow. For now, you need to get some sleep.." he said

"Oh..ok..ok.."

"Goodnight, my future wife. I'll see you tomorrow." He smiled and ended the call

You drop your phone to the ground, eyes watering, heart beating rapidly.

"I'M GONNA KILL YOU, JANE!!!!" You yelled
