Chapter 8

We thanked the guy who assisted us.

Agad namang tumayo si Juni, to divert the topic. She started to ask me if it was traffic, kaninang alas siete pa raw kasi sila nandito. Magkasama kami sa master bedroom kaya ako ang kinukulit niya, si Marcus naman dumiretso sa kuwarto niya, mag-isa lang siya roon. Bale sa buong hotel room, kaming tatlo ang magkasama.

After a while, bumaba ulit kami to eat our lunch, naglibot-libot na rin kami bago ayusan. I brought my camera with me to take some photos of my surroundings.

Hindi na muna ako nagpalit ng damit, I still wore my fitted royal blue high jeans so it would show my curve, hindi na rin ako nagpalit ng sapin sa paa, I still wore my heels. Hindi na kasi ako pinadalhan ni Mama ng extra, baka mabigatan lang daw ako.

May lumalapit tuloy sa akin at tinatanong if I'm a model! Good thing Juni is just beside me and will say that she's my manager. Kahit hindi naman.

"Ang daming guwapo!"

After a while, tapos na kaming maayusan. I'm now wearing a pink silky dress that ends above my knee. Nakapuwesto na kami sa table na naka-assign sa amin, Marcus left us for a while.

Nilibot ko ang paningin sa paligid, I agree with Juni's remarks, totoo naman kasi na kalat ang mga artista at iba pang socialites.

I saw some of our schoolmates and teachers on our campus, they look so different because of how formal and elegant they look.

"Ang "Inuts" naman! Full air conditioned naman 'to." Juni acted like it was that hot, even if it was not! My eyes immediately darted to the guy he was about. Hindi ako mapakali sa upuan ko, kahit wala naman talaga siyang ginagawa!

I can't take my eyes off him. God, he looks so good in an American coat! His wavy hair was fixed, and indeed it fits on him. The color of his coat compliment his tan skin very well. May nakikita nga akong napapalingon sa kanila.

Hindi ko pa rin inalis ang mga mata ko sa kanila, hanggang sa dumating si Lincoln. Napakurap pa ako ng ilang beses, since they looked so comfortable to each other! Nang madikit ang artista sa kaniya, parang naging kasing lebel niya ito. The three of them start to strike up a conversation, minsan tumatawa si Jameson at Lincoln, they look like teasing Ethane who just rolls her eyes.

I can't help but gulp, everything he does is indeed hot!

I just shook my head at that thought and tried to divert my attention. Umiwas ako ng tingin at dumapo naman ito sa harapan kung nasaan ang pamilya ni Wynter, all of them were smiling widely while talking to some socialites. Their aura screams power.

"Let's all welcome, Wynterlheigh Navarro!" All of our eyes darted to the debutant.

Her eyes glistened in joy, it looked so natural, so genuine. I hope it will never fade... I hope she'll never change.

Tumikhim ako, I suddenly felt conscious, parang may nakamasid sa akin. Suminghap ako, at sinubukang hanapin ang matang iyon.

Halos manlaki ang mga mata ko na mapagtantong siya 'yon. Kahit sa malayo, kitang-kita ko ang kulay ng mata niya dahil natatamaan ng ilaw... those hazel eyes. Our eyes met...
