A week passes by and Rain and Y/n had to come to Papa's office
Papa sat on his chair looking at us "Rain and Y/n...Do you know why I pulled you into my office..." He said I looked at Rain as so did he "I have found out that you two are dating...Am I correct?" He continued as I nodded "Yea...?" I said as he flipped through pages of a book on his desk and then turned the book around so we could see and the page that it was on was called 'Ghouls Mates' I took a glance at the first sentence it read 'Ghouls are only allowed to have mates that are Ghoulettes or other Ghouls' And in bold writing below it 'NO HUMANS ARE ALLOWED TO DATE GHOULS!'
I looked up at Papa then at Rain as tears started to swell up in his eyes He got up and ran out in tears I stood up from my chair "May I go and check on him?" I said as Papa nodded "I will get a Ghoul to drop off the book later" I nodded walking out of his office and walked to Rain's room when I got there I saw Aether standing there infront of his door knocking. I walked up to Aether "Rain won't let anyone in" He said stepping away from the door "Do you know why?" He tilted his head in confusion I nodded and whispered "He just found out that Humans can't date Ghouls..." Aether nodded and whispered back "You should try and talk to him" then walking away
After he had walked away I knocked on Rain's door "Rain it's me Y/n! Let me come in!" I said in a gently tone after standing there for a few minutes I grabbed the door handle and slowly turned it looking into the room, Swiss was sitting on the bed while Rain had covered himself under his blankets sobbing loudly I sat right next to Swiss and looked at him then uncovering Rain from the blankets "Rain..." I said he looked away
Swiss touched my shoulder "Hey Rain...I think there is a way that you two could stay together" Swiss said looking at the sad water ghoul as The Water ghoul looks at Me and Swiss starting to stutter "H-How..?" He said I looked at Swiss he looked at Rain "I remember seeing a book on 'Humans to Ghoul.'..." My eyes widen as so does Rain's "Where's the book?" I asked sitting up straight "In the forbidden end of the library." Swiss said before continuing "No one is allowed back there...But you maybe be able to get down there, Ask Papa Tomorrow..." I nodded and went back to my room and studying the book that Papa had given me before
-The Next Morning-
I woke up early and got dressed quickly opening my door and walking out to Papa's Office I entered in "Hey Papa..can I ask you something?" I said He sat up in his chair nodding "I was wondering if I could get the key to the forbidden area in the library since I have read everything in the library?" He looked at me curiously and smiled handing the key over to me "Sure Dear...Just don't read a Book called 'Anima Diaboli'.." I smiled grabbing the key and walking to Rain's Room, Swiss sat on the bed while Rain sat on the floor I sat at the door frame "I got the key I will be right back" I walked to the library and into the Forbidden area I looked though all the books until I found the book I walked out and locked the forbidden area's lock walking back to Rain's Room and closing the door behind me "So did you get it?" Swiss asked I sat on the floor placing the book infront of me flipping through the pages till I found the page named 'Human Transformation into Ghoul' and looked at it Swiss read the bottom part "Y/n..it says that only 50% of the time it works...Are you sure?" I nodded my head in confidence as the two ghouls got ready for the Ghoul ritual...
