I get woken up in the morning with the usual words from Mom: "Maddie! Mackenzie! Time for dance!"
I get out of bed, rub my eyes and go to the Store for my dance bag. I put on my ALDC stuff and head to the kitchen. "Where's Mackenzie?" I ask, sliding into my seat. Mom turns to kiss my forehead. "Why don't you go get her?" I get out of my chair and go up to Mackenzie's room. She's still in her bed. "Mackenzie!" I shake her. "Kenzie!" Not even a small movement. I sit on her bed. "Wake up, Boo Boo Kitty!" I shake her harder and she sits up, rubbing her eyes. "Wh-what is it?" She asks. "Mackenzie, you have to come down for breakfast. We have dance, remember?"
"Oh yeah!" She jumps out of bed and runs downstairs.
Mackenzie never misses the wake up call. Something's not right with her and I have to find out what it is. Detective Maddie Ziegler is on the case!
