"hmmmmmm" I groaned annoyed at the shuffling beside me
"Good morning" I heard his husky voice speaking to me
"Shut up" I responded and unconsciously clinged to him tighter. A small smile formed in his lips
"Do you not want to get up right now?" he asked
"Is it because your late for work?" I asked and quickly turned my back at him but I felt his arms wrap my waist
"I don't mind overtime for you" he whispered beside my ear. My face completely turned red. Is he drunk or still not fully awake because this man is currently spouting nonsense
"Oh is that so? So are you going to willingly quit your job for me?" I asked now sitting on the bed
"Sure I don't even like my co workers" he said jokingly
"Don't be foolish boy I'm just messing with you do whatever you want I don't care as long you came back alive" I said holding the neck tie around his neck
I quickly stood up
"I'll cook breakfast don't worry I won't burn your fancy apartment down"
I saw felt presence behind me then saw Nanami in his suit the same old blue shirt with a white jacket hugging his torso and a very weird colored neck tie
"Here eat" I said while placing fluffy pancakes on his plate
"I'm surprised" he said as he comfortably placed his chin on the palm of his hand looking at me with a smile
"Why? Is it because I'm not punching you or being aggressive as usual?" I asked sitting at other chair
"I've never seen you worn an apron before" he said
"And I can't believe you have this pink apron in such a luxurious apartment. It kills out the classiness of your home" I mocked him
"Should I throw it away"
"No this is the only interesting thing in your house. I'm surprised where you get this" I said chuckling
He sighed pinching the bridge of his nose "Gojo gave me that despite discarding a few times. He keeps buying that for me so I just don't even bother to throw it away anymore" he said
"Well I'm not surprised about Gojo's behavior your such a party pooper" I said
"I am?"
"Yes, I remember you greeting me happy birthday when everyone planned a surprise birthday party for me that was a dick move" I ranted remembering the upsetting memory of him ruining my special day
"Are you holding a grudge??" he asked looking at me with his brows frowned
"Yes I am it was a perfect day ruined especially a surprise is interesting. Like wouldn't it be interesting if they give you salary at random times so you won't expect it" I asked
"I think I would like to know the date of when I will get my salary to give me a little inspiration to even work at all" he countered which I definitely rolled my eyes at his answer
"You have a point but it would be fun if you have thrill in your life. Like a little fun a purpose of living" I said making my point
"I already have mine" he said
"Tch work isn't the purpose of living and it's boring. What do you even want?"
"I want to live near a beach. In another country and finally reading all my books. Maybe get married to someone I like" he said with his eyes glinting
