many states have gone back to live on the surface again - new zealand did transfer their entire economy (trade, production, services as well as science and agriculture) back to the ground, being the first country ever to fully return to independence from underground networks and scientific alternatives.
now, south korea which is affected by climate crisis the most has set a concept for a long-term project, so-called sunflower project. therefore, a representative of the south korean underground army is selected to cooperate with a scientist for several weeks in living above.
head of scientific party is dr. johnny suh, that originally was scheduled to run the mission himself. sadly, he now was invited to an important strictly confidential climate conference, he's instructed to give recommendation for another scientist soon.
