Goblin Slayer and Priestess arrived at the Adventurer's Guild, having successfully saved another group of adventurers from a large group of goblins. Slayer sits down at an empty table, while Priestess turned in the quest.

As the Slayer started to relax, someone with advanced armor and weapons walks in looking around, until he sees Goblin Slayer.

Slayer: "Hello."
Knight: "They are coming. Please tell me you remember me."
Slayer: "I apologize. I don't remember meeting you. But, who's coming?"
Knight: "This world will not survive in the state you are in. The Armies of Darkness will rise again. Find your Prateor Armor and weapons. This world needs you again."
Slayer: "Excuse me? What are you talking abo-?"
Knight: "Goblins are nothing compared to Them. When They arrive.....Rip and Tear, Until It Is Done."
The Knight gives his shotgun to Goblin Slayer, before heading into a portal that generated out of nowhere. Goblin Slayer picked up the shotgun, causing him to remember a small fragment of a memory. In it, Goblin Slayer was with a group of soldiers that wore uniforms that said UAC, protecting a scientist who was terrified out of her mind, while also fighting off creatures that were hidden in darkness. The soldiers are incinerated with fireballs, and Goblin Slayer and the woman run, as the monsters chase after them. The creatures get closer, and Goblin Slayer pushes the woman into a bunker. She looks back, tears flooding her eyes seeing him on the other side of the bunker.
Goblin Slayer: "RUN SAM!! I'LL BE BACK!!"
Before he can remember what happened next, he's brought out of the memory when Priestess shakes him.
Priestess: "Are you okay? You were saying something about....demons?"
Goblin Slayer: "..........Sam........"
Priestess was confused upon hearing the name.
Priestess: "Who's Sam? Are they a friend?"
Goblin Slayer: "My.......sister......Sam......"
Priestess: "I thought your sister died?"
Goblin Slayer: "When?"
Priestess: "W-W-When the goblins attacked your home."
