Only Exception

Last minute practice

He thought that by ignoring him he would get bored and leave, but the hero kept walking alongside him. Talking about his sidekicks, how much he loves his fans, and just asking him how he feels.

This kept going even as he finally reached the studio. The hero quickly noticed and smiled, his wings extending almost knocking Dabi's coffee.

"Wow so soon! Time sure flies when you have company!" He beamed, perhaps hoping to see something similar to his mood. Dabi ignored the comment and reached for the door.

"Hey wait!" He followed "You never told me about your head! Did they work?"

The singer looked back at the hero who looked concerned? Was that normal? Probably just an act to get sympathy points from nearby onlookers.

"They took a bit to take effect" he admits, still looking at the hero while holding the door. It took about maybe 10 minutes to lessen the headache, and during those ten minutes he felt like his head was run over ten times with the blaring music.

"I see, well at least it took effect!" He said "It would've been bad if it didn't work!"

The singer nods, not giving the number three hero any more contact. He didn't want to be late and get an earful from Tenko.

"Wait!" The hero called "I almost forgot! Can I-"

SLAM

And just like that, Dabi's day has officially begun.

"Time flies my ass" he sips his coffee and heads to where his bandmates are.

(At the studio)

"Well look who decided to show up!" Twice pointed at the singer who just entered their lounge area.

"Yeah yeah what a shocker" the singer took off his glasses looking unamused as he took a sip of his coffee.

"DABIII!" Toga runs up to Dabi, the suddenness almost made him drop his beverage.

"Jesus you almost-!" The drummer tightens her hug . "Himiko!-"

"My my!" Compress chuckled, coming out of the bathroom and taking a seat "I didn't know you could get up without Shoto" 

"Good to see you too" the singer said sarcastically rolling his eyes as he pries himself off of the drummer.

"Well isn't this a rare sight?" The singer turns around, Shigaraki looked at his singers presence. Spinner who came in with Shigaraki walked passed his leader and took a seat before greeting Dabi.

"Coffee?" He offered, the leader kept his mouth shut and continued to stare.

"Your loss" he takes another sip making loud noises at the same time. Successfully annoying his leader who tried to keep a straight face.

"Whatever. Don't have time to question your ability to get up on your own" he scoffed, walked passed his band who kept eyes on him. 

He turns his head looking back at them. The band felt a little afraid of the face he had now. Indicating they follow him, one by one the band follows their leader to the practice room.

"This is gonna be a long day" Twice spoke out loud.

(Four. Hours. Later)

"Toga you're not going along the rhythm!"

"Its not my fault! I'm only 17!" She defended, waving her drumsticks in the air.
