Only Exception

Where is he?!

The singer went to reach for his wallet but was stopped by the hero. "No no it's okay! I can pay!" The hero rejects the singer's money.
"It's fine I have cash-" the hero held onto the singer's hands and gently shook his head.
"I insist" was all his eyes said before rushing in to the pharmacy.

Dabi stayed outside of the building. Why was he waiting? The guy's annoying as it is, weird, and let's not forget because of the Starbucks fiasco he can't buy his coffee there anymore. He looked at his phone then look to the door of the pharmacy. He could leave, it wasn't his job to wait for some guy to buy him some painkillers and it wasn't the hero's job to buy a total stranger painkillers for his headache. Is being a pain in the ass part of a hero? He should leave, endure the scolding of his life, get the sobbing from Toga and just do whatever the hell Shigaraki wants him to do. So why was he staying?

(Time skip to the studio )

"DABIII!" Toga runs to smother her bandmate with tears ruining her makeup. It was expected of her after being told he was "kidnapped" or "dead", he just didn't think she would be crying that hard for him. "I wanted to call the police but Shiggy got a hold of our phones!" She continues to cry as she buries her face into his shirt.

"Hey I'm fine" He looks down at the blonde who was still crying. The drummer slowly looked up with tears still running down in her eyes. She wiped her tears despite them still coming out of her eyes.

"I thought something bad happened to you okay?!" Toga defended herself as she kept trying to stop crying. "We were worried! Even Shiggy was scratching his neck! What if something had happened?!"

"I had someone watching over me anyway " Dabi looked behind him.

"Huh?" Toga looked what was behind Dabi to see the number three hero standing there himself. He smiled, still showing the same charm he always had to the crying girl.

"Turkey Man!" The drummer gasped and tried to compose herself as she wiped the tears that kept spilling. "A hero kept you company?" She wondered out loud, the thought that a hero would have cared enough to accompany Dabi to the studio was odd. Sure she didn't mind when he handed her missing Sanrio purchase or when he payed Chinese, but does mean her theory is correct? She's not sure.

"Yes a hero kept me company" Dabi sighed "An annoying one too"

"Hey! Im not annoying!" Hawks defends himself " I'm Hawks!" He looked at the still crying girl and grabbed something from his pockets. Toga looked at the hero in surprise seeing that he handed her a handkerchief. She looked at the hero, then back at the singer and slowly took the handkerchief.

Her tears stopped flowing, why was he with Dabi? Could her theory be true? Are they in a secret love affair? She kept thinking and thinking.

"Does he have feelings for Dabi? I mean, why else would a hero like Hawks walk with a singer like Dabi? Because that's his job? Nahhh that's too realistic! Maybe they went on a secret date and did the naughty! Or maybe they have like 300 babies already and-"

"Yo crazy, stop staring at him like that" Dabi had interrupted her thoughts. Okay, maybe the 300 babies was too much, perhaps they just did the naughty. If that is the case then no wonder Dabi took so long. She then realized she still had the handkerchief and quickly looked at the hero in front of her.

"Uh-You can have the handkerchief! I haven't ruined it so-" but Hawks rejected the offer, Toga was confused. Why not want the handkerchief? He should need it in case another person was ugly crying in front of him right?

"Keep it. You deserve it" he began to lift his feet off the ground and smiled "Just make sure to not leave him alone the next time he throws a party!" Dabi took one more glance at the ascending bird, lucky he still had his mask and sunglasses or else the bird and drummer would've seen the look of.. sleep deprivation? He hasn't looked in the mirror, not even got a cup of coffee! He probably looks like he hadn't slept in ages or something.
