After the school bell rang we went to our bikes
"so any luck on falling asleep during study hall?" I asked
"no I was drifting off during gym my gym teacher was pissed" he replied
"well look on the bright side we are close to finishing medievil!" I said
"yeah after you made me do a all nighter" Alan replied
"again I'm sorry I really mean it brother" I replied back
"it's fine let's get to the shop" Alan replied
i nodded and we were off to our dad's toy shop we would park our bikes and head into our dad's shop ignoring a kid talking about how it's "never got anything good" Alan would flip through a magazine about motorcycles and other rides to impress the girls I rest myself on store the counter as I saw a delivery truck pull up my face light up
"Hey Alan Joe is here!" I said excitedly
"Oh great more supplies for our dad's store" I said
"Eh don't be so bummed out besides we can see new toys that are being released in month or two" I said
"Aren't you a little too old for toys?" He ask
"You're never too old besides have you seen those beastwars transformers?" I asked
"No because I'm not going to toy stores anyways come on Joe's waiting for us" he said
Both of us exited to see and greeted Joe
"hey Alan and amber how are you two doing?" he asked us as he lifted the trucks back door
"good" I said
"hey joe is that a new truck?" Alan asked
"new owner see" he said pointing to the embroidered logo on his shirt " globotech "
"I got the boxes" Alan said as he went to get the cart
"alright brother" I replied
we waited for him and as we waited joe asked me something
"So how's school been?" He asked
"Tiring amber did a all nighter playing the new video game" he replied as brought the cart with him
"Ooh both of you really shouldn't do that trust me I heard stories of people who do that develop bad habits" he said talking to us as I took the boxes and place them on the cart unaware of Alan eyeing something behind him
"Hey Joe what are those?" He asked
Joe looks behind him
"What is what?" He asked
"gorgonites and commando elite what are those?" He said
Joe looked at the boxes
"Uh don't know other then they are apart of my new owner company but hey um" he said as he looks around
"Wanna take a look?" He said as a wink
"Oh hell yeah!" Alan yelled
"Shh shh heh heh be a little more quiet ok" he said
He past them to Alan and he put them on the cart as we go into the supply room joe would lock up the back and front of his truck. Alan put the commando box in front of him and the gorgonites box in front of me I used a light box cutter to open it when I open the flaps I was greeted by a monster toy in it's red box a cat humanoid like creature wearing native American styled clothes with interesting weapons and armor I slowly picked it up out of the box I look back seeing Alan hold a similar shaped box but with a soldier in it
