Kie and JJ went towards the car but Pope kept looking at Rafe on the floor.

"Stay off the Cut." Pope says.

"Let's go, Pope." I say, grabbing his arm slightly.

"Dude, where is he?" Kie asks.

"Give him a second. He'll be here." Pope says.

"He's coming. He'll be fine." JJ says.

"Oh shit." I say, once we see a police car.

"JJ." Kie says.

"Yeah, get back on the boat." JJ says.

We started going towards the boat and JJ told Kie to untie it, because the car had stoped in front of us.

I looked back at the car and John B left from the driver's seat.

"John B?" I ask.

"Wait. No way." JJ says.

"No f'ing way." Pope says.

"You've gotta be kidding me." JJ says.

"Shoupe let me take it for a spin." John B says.

"Mhm, sure." I say.

"Okay, that's believable. I'll buy that for now." Kie says.

"It wasn't easy, bro. But I got the Phantom for you. And she runs like she was made yesterday. You ready to go?" JJ asks.

"Where's Sarah?" John B asks.

"Sarah?" I ask.

"She's not with you?" Kie asks.

"No, no. We got separated in the swamp. She said she was gonna meet me here." John B says.

"No, we hanven't seen her." Pope says.

"Okay, well. I'm not leaving without her." John B says.

"John B, look at me. I know you feel bad for leaving but there's no time, man. You've got plenty of gas, you've got plenty of food. Once you get around that point it's a straight shot across the sound to Dismal Swamp, okay? Once you get there, lay low, all right?" JJ says.

"Hang out for a couple of weeks and then go overland. Cross the border at Brownsville, you got that?" JJ asks.

"You, hey! You got that?" JJ asks seeing John B distracted.

"Yeah, yeah. Brownsville." John B says.

"All right, saddle her up, saltwater cowboy. Let's do this. Yeah." JJ says.

John B got in the boat and then turned around to look at us.

"Hey, hey. I'm sorry for basically... throwing us off a cliff, with this whole treasure hunt thing." John B says.

"Hey, John B, yo. We were bound to run off a cliff at some point, right?" JJ says.

"Yeah." John B chuckles.

"At least we did it together, though. Pogue style." JJ says.

"Pogue style." John B repeats.

"Get out of here, please." Kie says.
