"Oh come on love, calm down we are not going to miss the train!"

Today was your first time in Hogsmeade. Even through most students were allowed to go in their third year, your parents didn't allow you to go until 5th.

"Sorry Draco I'm just paranoid, what if we get left here? What if the train leaves without us?"

"There are worse people to be stuck with" he smirked and kissed your cheek 😏

You blushed and hit him with a newspaper you pulled out of a nearby rack

You ran out of the candy shop you were in and Draco, who was now laughing, chased you around the village

You ended up standing in a small empty field that had been snowed over, Draco playfully tackled you and started tickling all over your body

You were both laughing so hard you couldn't breathe, so he stopped and laid down beside you

The two of you stayed on the fluffy snow, talking and pointing out clouds in the sky until it started getting dark

"Merlin Draco we are going to miss the train!"

He sat up and nervously turned to you

"Heh, so perhaps I should've listened to you earlier.."

"Perhaps!" You glared at him a bit before getting yourself up and dusting off your clothes

"Come on then Malfoy, maybe we can make it at the last second!"

You grabbed his hand a yanked him up before running with him to where the Hogwarts Express brought you here.

"Y/n slow down! We're already late we might as well take our time!"

You sigh and let go of his hand, the sit down on a nearby bench
Almost all of Hogsmeade is empty now, as half the shops are closing up

"So what do we do now?" You ask, hoping he has an answer since he's been coming here for two years

"We wait. Theo got left here once in third year, and eventually Mcgonagall will come back for us, likely within the next 20 minutes."

You sigh of relief
"So at least I won't be stuck with you alllll night" You joke

Draco fakes a dramatic gasp and you both start laughing

Then you feel a raindrop

"Merlin! This really has to happen tonight?" Draco said, irritated

It suddenly starts pouring

"Bloody hell, none of these shops are open, we're gonna be drenched!"

Draco starts smiling

It's cute, but confusing

"What about this is making you happy Malfoy?"

"I have an idea" he says smirking

"Do I like where this is going?"

He then pulls you by the wrist out into the open snow- covered concrete

You're confused at first, but he then adjusts your hands on his shoulders, and he puts his on your waist

You shiver as his hands are freezing cold, but they start to warm up as you waltz around the empty village, watching as his gray eyes glisten in the street lights

You used to suck at dancing- worse than Ronald Weasley bad- but last year at the Yule Ball, Draco taught you

You had gone to the Ball with Blaise Zabini, but you two just didn't click. He left early, leaving you alone at the table by yourself

Draco came up to you and asked you to dance, since you didn't know how, you declined

However, Draco persisted- it was actually quite annoying- but cute, so you agreed

You stepped on his toes with your heels so many times- he had to visit Madame Pomfrey at the end of the night (oopsies...)

But it was worth it, because tonight, you were having the time of your life

You slid your hand through his thick, wet hair, and down the side of his face

It's as if your lips were magnetic, and they couldn't stay apart one moment more ✨
