Yn was excited about her date as she returned to her dorm room. Alex was there already, reading a book as she was expecting yn to be coming home soon. She couldn't help but be jealous of yn as she was going on a date with someone.
" I'm back!" yn said, putting down her books by her stand.
Alex got up, smiling as they exchanged their day with each other, yn grabbed the clothes that she had prepared. " so, are you excited?"
yn nodded her head, " I am. He said he'll be here in a few when I messaged him on the way here."
Alex smiled, handing her a condom." you're going to need this then babes"
Yn tossed it into the trash can, blushing as Alex burst out laughing. Yn finished getting ready as Alex went onto her phone, scrolling through her Instagram.
" Alright, I should be back in a few hours. You have my 360, so if anything you know what to do" yn said, grabbing her purse.
Alex nodded her head, waving goodbye to her friend.

" dude you're going on a date!" baekhyun said, punching chanyeol on his chest.
Chanyeol chuckled, " yeah, I mean considering I don't have a soulmate, maybe she'll be the one you know"
baekhyun nodded his head, understanding that he doesn't have a soulmate. He was told that his sting turned black around high school, and once he enter college it disappeared.
" you'll find the right girl Baekhyun. I saw you talking to that one girl in the kitchen. She was cute," Chanyeol said, putting his wallet into his back pocket.
Baekhyun shook his head, " absolutely not, she talked way too much. She just isn't my type you know."
Chanyeol chuckled, " yes I know. Baek."
" hm"
" you'll tell me if she's your soulmate right? Just because you have a red string doesn't mean that it'll happen. I wouldn't want our friendship to be ruined"
Baekhyun was confused, " who? the girl you're going on a date with or that one from the kitchen?"
" not yn, I think you would of know if it was her. Just anyone in general you know."
" Well, it was kinda dark and I was uncomfortable at the time. I wasn't paying attention"
Chanyeol nodded his head, understanding but he couldn't help but feel guilty. Something was nagging at him to not fall for yn but he couldn't help it. From talking to her during the week and sensing her kindness he fell for her.
Baekhyun and Chanyeol said goodbye before he was off towards the date.

it wasn't a big date, but some coffee and sandwiches to get to know each other. Yn was laughing, hiding her face with her hands as Chanyeol finished telling her a joke. Taking in a deep breath, yn let out a sigh of relief.
" so yn, I know it's only our first date but I wanted to tell you about my string," Chanyeol spoke.
yn froze but she nodded her head, not speaking as she took a sip from her coffee.
" mine is black, it went black around high school and it recently disappeared two or three years ago. You don't have to tell me yours, I understand that it's too quick for us."
yn smiled, making chanyeol heart flutter as yn was glad that it wasn't red. She wanted to tell him, but she was worried about what he'll think of her.
" red," she said.
Chanyeol put his drink down, shocked that she told him. Yn's hands were wrapped around the cup, giving it a small squeeze before continuing.
" my string is red. I've never met him or her and my parents don't know. this is the first time I've ever been on a date."
Chanyeol took her hand into his, giving her a reassuring squeeze as yn looked up at him.
"I'm scared that I'm the one who's in love, leaving my partner alone. I don't want to be the one to cause him or her heartbreak"
Chanyeol understands, considering his closest friend also has a red string. He wondered if maybe they are linked, but he wanted to be selfish. He didn't want to see if they are.
" it'll be okay yn. I won't force you into anything you're not comfortable with." Chanyeol said, smiling at her.
