There twin girls that would do anything for each other or anyone around them. With summer just around the corner and their family friends arriving summer has never felt better. Except this summer was different this was their summer

—'{ chapter six }'— Brook twins as debutants
"a debutante me are you going crazy susannah" delilah spoke out reading her invatation looking over everyone could see paisley physically jumping out of her skin she was so excited "is that the thing where the girls wear white dresses amd curtsey?" belly questions "YES IM SO EXCITED" paisely finally exploads screaming as delilah starts laughing "yeah im not doing this" she continues
"its when a girl comes of age and is presented to society i-i know it sounds silly but i swear its fun girls come from all over new england to cousins just to be apart of it youll make so many new friends all three of you would" susannah finishes "nope i dont do dresses" delilah refuses but no one seems to notice beside her mother who is now giving her the stare down "i cannot believe you are holding on to this archaic dream" laurel says getting up "yeah beck and dragging our girls into it" georgia says getting up following behind laurel
"no it used to be about finding a husband but now its about networking they teach you leadership skills like how to market yourself and it benefits charity its um like a bat mitzvah" susannah says before being interupted by the two other womens laughter "it is not like a bat mitzvah" laurel says coming into the dinning room once more with georgia following close behind with a bottle of wine "there is nothing religious about a debutante ball" georgia adds as both ladys sit back down
"the whole deb scene is bullshit its for sheep" conrad says "oh my he speaks but how would you know" delilah teases "i went to one last year" he whispers so only delilah heard "no its not" susannah says while her glass fills with wine "its when a girl has a coming out its a formal recognition shes reached maturlity" she finishes and jeremaih and steven start laughing
"what so funny douchebags" delilah doesnt hesitate to say "oh sorry im sorry mature?" steven questions "yes" susannah answers "belly and delilah i get paisley but belly and delilah" he questions again earning a nod from susannah "hey whats that supposed to mean im mature" delilah defends herself "im sorry luv but your not" paisley lets out "ooh roasted by your own twin" steven laughs "a couple months ago belly had a cat funeral you made us all wear black" steven shot out
"shut up steven i saw you crying in your room" belly shots right back " and delilah last i checked you sleep with a night light during a hurricanes" steven shot out "oh your so funny steven im going to dig a whole and barry your in it" delilah yells "wait mochi died im sorry bells" jeremiah gets all concered and delilah notices her sisters face fall
"girls" susannah grabs our attention once more "dont you wanna get all dressed up" she asks paisley nods her head like theres no tomorrow "its just not belly's kind of thing shes our feral little ally cat" laurel says "doesnt seem like delilahs either" jeremiah buds in "yeah beck delilah doesnt do the whole dress up thing" georgia buds in "ill think about it" belly says "yeah me too" delilah says aswell "theyll think about it" susannsh repeats giving the two other women a 'i win you lose' look
delilah only said shed think about it because she didnt like how quick her mom was to say it wasnt her thing sure delilah hates dressing and makeup and pretty much everything that has to do with this debutante thing its her sisters thing for sure but made it could be her thing and she just didnt know it but at the same time she didnt want paisley to get all the love and attention because everyone loves paisley and for once delilah wanted to prove to everyone she could be like her sister
SAVVY SPEAKS: this was a short one i know but i was going to make it longer but it leads into what i want the next chapter to focus on sooo i figured this was a good stopping point
