Matt, Kelly, Katie, Cindy and Herrmann are all busy so Im watching Astrid this week.
Morning Astrid. I said as she came into my kitchen.
Morning Uncle Tonio, where are Diego and Eva? asked Astrid
Not wake yet, want to go wake them up? I asked
Okay. said Astrid, as she ran off to wake them up.
GOOD MORNING DIEGO AND EVA. yelled Astrid
Astrid, five more minutes. said Diego and Eva, only for Astrid to come into the kitchen and grab a big bowl, put ice in it then cold water.
ASTRID WHY? yelled Diego and Eva
Uncle Tonio, told me to wake you guys up. said Astrid, as Laura came into the kitchen laughing, I started to laugh too. We then see Diego and Eva chase Astrid into the kitchen and Astrid jumps on top of the counter and sits down.
Dad, Astrid doped ice cold water on us. said Diego and Eva
I told her to wake you guys up so you can get food before school. I said ha Laura High-Fived Astrid and I picked her off the counter and put her in her chair.
Once we were all done eating, I got the children into the car and took them to school. Well not Astrid, because she is homeschooled. I then take her to my job, once I get there. Astrid and I get out and walk into the district. Once Sergeant Platt saw Astrid she looked scared.
Sergeant Platt, are you okay? I asked
No, why is Kayla here? asked Sergeant Platt
My other family is busy, so Uncle Tonio and Aunt Laura are watching me. Also I passed all my classes and graduated. said Astrid
Okay, well you may not sit down here. said Sergeant Platt
Okay? I said/asked and I walked up with Astrid
Astrid, what did you do to Sergeant Platt? I asked
Last year when I came here, I sat down and started to draw. Not talking or moving. We did have a staring contest before Uncle Mouse came in. said Astrid
Okay, so is she scared of you? I asked
Yep, I dont know why, she wont talk to me when I ask her. said Astrid
We get upstairs and Astrid says hi to everyone but Voight. She then goes to sit beside Mouse and get something out of her backpack. I go to look but Mouse taps her shoulder and she puts away. I wonder what she is working on. I know that it is artwork, but she never lets me see it.
Astrid, I am ever going to see what you are working on? I asked
No. said Theodore, James, Jay, Mouse and Hailey
Why not? I asked
Because it is for you. said Astrid
You have been working on it since last year. I said
It is a big artwork Uncle Antonio, and Never Rush An Artist. said Astrid
Right, sorry Astrid. I said and got back to work, Voight, kept looking over at Astrid. I started to get worried that he may hurt Matt through Astrid.
Voight, if you hurt her in any way I will come after you. I said
Okay, I wont, but it is weird that Matt Casey would let his daughter come here. said Voight
He knows that Hailey, Jay, Mouse and I will fight you if you hurt her. I said and I left his office.
