Georgina is my little girl and when she was born I promised her that I would never let anything bad happen to her. The doctor lets us in to see our baby girl and stand by her side. We aren't aloud to pick her up or anything. Her left eye is blood shot and she has machines measuring her heart and brain activity. The machines are freaking me out. I want to get away because I have had such bad experiences with hospitals but I need to be here for my daughter. The doctors want to perform surgery right away so she is booked in for tomorrow. All of a sudden the machines monitoring her heart starting beeping and drawing long strokes. We stare at the machine until a nurse and two doctors come rushing in. We are taken out of the room and are left standing at the door looking through the window. It been and hour so I take my wife and sit in the hospital waiting room. I had decided to read something to take my mind off of what had just happened so I started to read a hospital magazine. I found this one article and started to read it. It was entitled "My brother".

I got half way through the article before I threw it away. It was about a boy around the age of three who had a Tuma begin his eye. I thought I would be doing myself a favour by reading it and finding out that he was alright but I was wrong. Two months into his recovery he hit an all time low. He became pale, vomiting and fast heart beat. His heart couldn't keep up with what it needed to be doing to help recovery so it failed. When his heart stopped so did his brain. The surgery for such a young child is hard to do as you have to go in from above the eyebrow. So things could have been cut that shouldn't have been. He was only three. My daughters only just been born. The chances aren't looking good. I pick up the magazine again so Lauren doesn't pick it up and read the article I just read. She can't see this. I can't even tell her about this she will just shut down. I will shut down
