The leaves change just as quickly as the haiku predicted, and soon the grey bleakness of winter started crawling in. Every few days Halle would go through her box of letters to see if there was one that could have applied to that day.
Sifting through the pile, she came across some that could be useful within the next couple weeks. The first one that was put aside to be read today was, Open When: You Need Color In Your Life.
The color of fight, the color of red
The color of fight the color is red
Fire and blood, power and strength is red
Pink is the color of romance and love
Pink is also the color of peace and love
Calm and sensitive, gentle as a dove
The color of joy, the color of of orange
The color of life the color of orange
Success, determination, is orange
Blue is the color of the sky and sea
Blue is the color of tranquility
Loyalty and wisdom feeling so free
Colors bring emotions to everything
Raw and real they encompass many things.
Reading thought the poem, Halle could feel her day get just a little bit more colorful. Still, the winter was keeping her spirits down so she moved on to the next letter in her list. Open When: You Long for the Beach
