Packing the last of her boxes up, Halle looks around the room with a sigh. She had recently finished her senior year of high school and was getting ready to head off to college.
Walking out into the living room to tell her parents she was all packed up and ready to go she noticed they weren't there. Assuming they had gone out to run errands she continued on with other things that needed to be done.
Opening the door to get the mail she stumbled on a box at her doorstep. Picking it up she noticed it was addressed to her house, with her name on it, but no return address. Taking it inside she opened the box up. There was a stack of letters inside, they all said Open When with a little sentence following it.
The first letter drew her attention. Open First. Deciding to play into this persons game, Halle took the box into her room and she opened the letter.
Dear Halle,
Following this letter are 12 more letters. Each one is to be opened at a different time in your life. Or you could go ahead and open them all right now. Knowing you, this is the option you will pick. Throughout reading these you will wonder who I am and why I'm writing to you. Trust that all of your questions- well most of them will be answered by the final envelope. I'm sure you are anxious to get to reading so I will let you go to your first letter.
Caving into her temptations, Halle put aside the first letter and picked up the first one: Open When You Need Some Tranquility
