Both my friends named Mark invited me to go with them to Disneyland. I told them that I had promised to take my sister.

"No problem we have sisters who are friends with Marie."

"Yea let's go as a huge group!" The other Mark suggested.

"Okay," I readily agreed to that. That way I could hang out with friends for once.

I couldn't wait to tell Penelope!

"So James have you ever considered trying out for baseball? You have a wicked throw."

"I've never stayed at a school long enough to try out for the spring sports."

"Oh. Well if you plan on staying for awhile you should try out. We'll introduce you to the coach if you want?"

"Sure, that would be awesome!" In my head I envisioned being the first angel to become a professional baseball player. Not that it could ever happen but hey a kid could dream.

I saw Marie at lunch when the Marks and I went to our table. She was with their sisters I now noticed which was ironic.

"Hey Keelie!" Mark C. called to his sister.

She strutted over and smiled brightly at us.

"Hey we're inviting James and Marie to go with us to Disneyland. Is that okay?"

"Yes, yes yes!" she squealed and ran back to go tell Marie the good news.

I laughed when all the girls at the table started chanting, "Disneyland! Disneyland!"

Knowing my sister, she would be talking about this for a long time afterwards.

Brady and Penelope walked in separate with their friends. I watched from afar as they sat at different tables. We're they still broken up?

Penelope was sitting with a table full of guys which also surprised me. Was this the group of people she was wanting to party with? If Jeremiah was here I knew he would have said no.

"James you okay?"

"Huh? Yea just looking at my sister that's all. She... seems different."

"High school changes people."

"For better or worse," the other Mark ended.

"I hope it's for the better then."
