My Sadness

What is your heart silent about?
Not about that evening
When we met because of the grieving,
And there was no way out?

What is your heart mourning about?
Not about our little wooden house,
That turned to ashes, burned down,
And it's just me and you all around?

What is your heart pounding about?
Not about that late love,
Which was taking care of us
In days and nights of letting downs?

What is your heart screaming about?
About such a "right" world,
Which we built with the swords,
Not knowing it's for those who wear crowns?

What is your heart hiding?
Aren't those memories
Of the war we went through together,
When I was killed in front of your eyes?
Oh, your heart silently cries!
