In a world where everything was full of color, hope, and magic, there lived a family of five who lived happily in the deep forest of MistyMoon Kingdom.
There were two beautiful young girls with hair as red as cherries and faces filled with precious brown freckles. Katherine also known as Kat, had the most beautiful sage green eyes, just like her mother, Pam. But her best friend, her sister, Eliza also called as Liz, had the sea-blue eyes of her father Ty.
Ty had deep blue eyes and hazel brown hair, while Pam had forest green eyes and hair as red as strawberries, just like her daughters. And finally, a black as coal bunny with the name of Yin, Yin had periwinkle purple eyes and a fluffy, round tail, and a speck of white fur on her chest. she had been in the family since she was a baby. The two girls found the poor thing on the ground freezing to death, and took her in.
The large white moon rose above as Kat was taking her nightly stroll around the woods with Yin. The moon was spectacular in MistyMoon, the wolves would not howl at it though, they would sing. As well as the owls and the foxes, they would not hoot or growl, instead, they sang beautiful melodies, this was the magic of their kingdom. Nevertheless, when Kat was picking large round blueberries that seem to glow in the moonlight, she spotted an unusual item, which would never naturally be found in a forest.
Kat was surprised with what she had found, she glared at the beautiful sapphire amulet with her eyes wide open. She stood in shock for a while and then slowly and carefully grabbed the amulet, then she began heading home. Her mind flooded with thoughts...where did this come from? Did the queen loose it? Has she been in the forest? Could I sell this to gain money for my family.... what would Liz do?
Pushing through tree branches and stepping through the twigs and leaves, she managed to get home. Kat placed Yin in her room, put the amulet in her drawer, ate dinner, and got ready for bed. While she fed Yin, she grabbed the beautiful amulet and watched it sparkle in the pitch-black room. Kat hesitated to tell her family about her discovery since they might want to sell the amulet for money (which they kind of needed) but decided on only telling Liz, her trustworthy and beloved sister. She placed the sapphire gem under her pillow and drifted into sleep, hoping to tell her sister about her unusual finding the next morning.

Morning struck, the bright sun rays caressed Kat's cheek from the large window near her bed, she jumped off, woke up Yin, grabbed the amulet, and headed downstairs.
Kat glided down the stairs following the heavenly smell of her mother's breakfast, with Yin following close behind. "Good morning!" She said cheerfully, as she slid the amulet in her pocket. Kat sat down at the table and began to eat her food.
As she bit the delicious blueberry pancakes, she could taste the sweet maple syrup and chocolate drizzle flooding her mouth. It was her favorite; her mother always had a special secret ingredient that made the pancakes even better than the usual ones from the store. "Where's Liz?" Kat asked in an enlightened yet serious tone, "Who darling?" Pam asked confused but in a sweet tone. "Never mind mom" also confused, she quickly finished her breakfast and rushed to Liz's room.
Pam glared at her daughter hurriedly walk up the stairs, bewildered.
She was so eager to tell her sister about her discovery, but as soon as she pushed her door slightly open, she found that Liz was nowhere to be seen. At first, Kat didn't think much of it since she could have just gone for a walk, but she slowly realized that she would have never left unannounced. Kat analyzed the room, her bed seemed to have not been slept in, "she didn't have come dinner with us Yin...she must have been gone since last night"
