"Want anything? Food? Whatever?" I asked.

"I'm fine." Gajeel replied.

His red eyes scanned the room.

"You really live here?" he asked.

"Yeah? Why is that so surprising?" I answered.

"Seems a little big. Aren't you use to caves?"

"Again, seven years ago."

Midnight decided to join us.

"Aye!" Midnight said.

Gajeel stared at Midnight.

"Um....Gajeel? You okay?" I asked waving a hand in front of his face.

"...."

"G-Gajeel?"

".....why?"

"Why what?"

"Why do you and that stupid fire breather have a flying kitty cat and I don't!" he shouted.

Que deadpan expression. Then I started laughing.

"Hey! Don't laugh at me! I'm serious! Maybe I want a flying kitty cat too!" he growled angrily.

"I won't rest until I find another fellow flying kitty cat!" Midnight joked, laughing with me.

Que Gajeel's death glare. And Midnight's flying away to a hiding spot.

"..."

"..."

"So......want some food?"

"...."

"Gajeel?"

"...."

"Will you say something?"

"..."

"Fine, make your own food. I'm going to bed."

I went to go up the stairs but was stopped.

"Where am I going to sleep?" Gajeel asked slightly blushing.

"There's only one room in the house believe it or not. S-so I guess with me if that's not a problem." I replied.

He looked back at the couch and back at me again.

"W-why are you looking at me like that?" I asked getting red.

"Gehehe. Guess I have no choice do I?" he chuckled.

"G-guess not..." I replied.

A very awkward moment of silence.

"Well....l-let's g-go." I said breaking the silence.

The two of us went up the stair and into my room. I could see Midnight hiding in a drawer. I walked over the wooden floor to the dresser and opened said drawer.

"Great...see what you did to my cat?" I said.

I held him up by his tail and shoved him in Gajeel's face.

"It's not my fault! He's the one who over reacted!" Gajeel retorted.

"Midnight, he won't eat you. I promise." I sighed.

"A-are you sure?" Midnight asked opening his eyes.

"No promises." Gajeel said under his breath.

I set Midnight back into his drawer and went over to mine.

"Well, I'm going t-to change...so....get out." I said grabbing pajamas.

Gajeel didn't say anything, he just turned around and walked out the door, shutting it.

"I swear to Magic if you're looked through the key hole I will end you." I said.

I heard him swear from outside. The sound of fading footsteps gave me some security. After I changed I called Gajeel back in.

"Well, do whatever you want. I'm going to bed." I said.

I climbed into my soft, fluffy bed. Then there was movement on the bed.

"Guess I'll have to get use to sleeping with someone huh?" I laughed.

The was only a grunt in reply and arms wrap around my waist before I fell asleep.
