Two months later
"congratulations Stella William on graduating from High," The Principal said on the mic as I got on the stage. Mr. Ben handed me my certificate and shook my hand and smiled "Good job Stella, you got through high school." I stepped forward, shooking the other teacher's hand, then got down the stage. Luka, Kim, Alex, Mia, and James finish getting their certificate and are waiting at the side, I walk over to them, and Mia hugs me. "You look so good in it," Mia smile
We went back to our seats as the other student goes up on the stage and get their certificate. As we seat listening to the student give out speeches I notice someone wasn't around, I look at the back and he wasn't there either, "Are you looking for someone?" Luka looked at me, I look at him and smile, "Yes, I'll be back," I got up and walked toward the back toward the front door, Mia and Jame look at Luka as I Leave "Where's Stella going?" Mia ask
"She'll be back," Luka looked at them
As I walk to the back, he was standing talking with a girl. "Levi," I call, he looks at me and smiles then started walking toward me, and I smile back.
"Hey, my little buddy, what can I help you with," Levi asks
"Nothing... I didn't see you while I was on the stage...I thought you left," I said
"Sorry, I had something to do," he smiles
"You're leaving tomorrow right?, can I have a picture with you?" I ask
"Sure, anything for you," he takes my phone and takes a picture with the both of us "don't worry, I'll visit you again sometime," he hands me back my phone.
"I'll be waiting," I smile
"What are you going to do after today?" he asks
"Work," I said as I save the picture and then look up at him
"Okay, if that makes you happy," he smiles, a massage came to his phone, he pulls it out from his pocket and looks at it for a second, and looks back at me "I have something to do, I'll see you around," he said as he walks away waving
"Okay," I wave back
I went back to my seat with the others, while the students take turns saying their last word on the stage and then get back to their seats. The Principal takes over asking everyone to think about what they wanted to do in the future then got down the stage.
Everyone went out in front of the school and count down from three then throw all their hats up in the air. A minute after the music went on and families and students take pictures with each other.
As Alex take pictures of his brothers, Jame take pictures of Mia and me, "everyone in, let's take a picture all together," Alex said as he hand a student the camera, "Mr. Ben! you have to be in the picture too,"
We all come together and take a picture. After everyone left the teachers and staff helped the cleaner clean the place, we also join cause we had to wait for the picture to print out, and for it to be colored, it take a little while to finish. As I finish up I carry the can to the back when Luka pulls me aside into a room that's empty. "Don't carry heavy things," he said
"It wasn't heavy," I said as he lead closer to me
"Thank you," he said resting his head on my shoulder
"For what?" I ask
"If not because of you, we shouldn't be here right now," he raises his head "that day you agree to be my girlfriend, that day our auntie was to take us back,"
"Wait, you mean, if I reject you that day, you and your brothers would of go back?"
"Yes," he smiles "when my auntie hears, you agree to be my girlfriend, she said we can live here,"
"Then you're not moving...?" I look up at him
"No, we're living here from now on,"
"Thank goodness," I sight
he held my face up and kiss me on my lip, he stay for a few seconds before removing his lip from mine. "It's all thanks to you," he smiles, I hug him tightly and kiss him, and he hugs and kisses back and we had a sweet moment.
