Jake POV:
I was chilling at my desk until holt called me into his office, really seriously? Huh. Weird.. "What's going on captain?" I asked with slight concern in my voice. "Peralta, you're going to want to sit down." He said very seriously. What's going on? I was so confused. "You remember when you were in jail, you were in a gang. Well.." He trailed off. "Well what?" I replied quietly, shifting uncomfortably in my seat. "Jeff Romero, he's out. And I'm worried he might try something. My superiors wanted me to talk to you about knowing where he might be. And..if he has a revenge list of some sort.." Holt went on. "Uh..uhm.. I don't know. Am- am i in danger?" I replied very nervously. "He did..mention a revenge list of..some sort. After I betrayed him, he might've put me on that list." I said freaking out on the inside. "Peralta, I'm putting you in a safe house. He knows what precinct you work at." The captain said quietly. "I'm going to call everyone in here to tell them. Is that okay?" He asked. I wasnt listening, I was remembering everything from prison. The beatings, the screaming, the bodies. I was pulled out of my own thoughts. "Peralta! Are you okay?" The captain said a little louder, making me flinch. "Yeah I'm fine with that." Suddenly remembering what he said. "Okay," The captain said, standing up. "Everyone, in here immediately." He said sternly. I was petrified.
No ones POV:
"What I'm about to say mustn't leave this room. Peralta will be going into a safe house. Jeff Romero has escaped prison and he might be out looking for revenge." Holt said. "Oh god.." Amy whispered silently. "I need Terry and Charles to go through case files that involves Romero. Amy, take Peralta to the safe house. Rosa, look for criminal contacts with Jeffords and Boyle.". Charles hugged Jake, a long with Amy.
LATER AT THE APARTMENT, PACKING
Jake goes to check the computer for any messages. Just one email.
"Jacob Peralta. You're going to die.
-Romero."
"Hey Ames.." Jake said quietly. "Yeah? What's up?".
"We need to leave."
