Juvia's POV
We had arrived at the water park. All these girls who had already graduated stared in awe at Gray. Love rivals. All of them. I hope they all fall off of a cliff.
"Gray-Sama, what do you want to do first?"
"Get rid of the Sama. It's weird. And I don't care."
"Oh. Ok. We could go on that big water slide."
"Sure."
We walked over to the Death Pit. It was a water slide that dropped you 200 feet without a tube. Then, you fell into a group tube and flipped around as you hung off the side. It sounded like so much fun.
As we made out way to the top, a group of girls ended up being in our group. It was a lady with pink hair and a girl who was almost the spitting image of her.
"Wait, Sherry? Chelia?"
"Gray?" The older one yelled, coming forward and hugging him.
"What are you guys doing here?"
"Chelia has a day off from school and wanted to come here."
"Um, Gray-S, Gray? Do you know these people."
"This is Sherry and Chelia. We go way back."
Way back. Gray must've dated this girl. The way his face lit up around her. And the little one, acting like he was her idol.
As we rode down the slide together, I realized something. Gray, I've never met anything as cold as you.
"It was so good to see you guys again!" Gray chimed as they walked away, smiling and waving.
"So, what do you want to do no-"
I slapped him across the face. He looked taken aback as tears rolled down my face.
"Why don't you go with your girlfriend? You seem to have such a good time with her!"
I turned and ran out of the park. Gray was behind me, yelling my name. I didn't care.
He was just another heartless jerk.
Gray's POV
I bolted after Juvia. She was fast. But, I was faster.
I don't know why she was acting so weird. Sherry was married to my brother, Lyon. We weren't dating. And Chelia was her cousin. I definitely wasn't dating her.
My face stung from where she had slapped me. I sped up, yelling her name in the parking lot.
Then, I saw it. Blue hair. At the other end.
I pushed myself to the limit until my arms were safely around her. She struggled to get out of my grip, but I held tight before flinging her over my shoulder and walking away.
"Put. Me. Down."
"I'm good."
We were almost to her house. I knew what I had to do.
The servants greeted us with confused looks. But I just walked past them until we were in her room. I placed her on the bed and sat down beside her.
"Just leave me alone, Gray."
"You left out the Sama."
"You told me not to call you that."
"It's cuter with it on there."
Her eye widened and she turned away. Step one, complete.
"Why don't you just go with your girlfriend?"
"First off, Sherry is my sister-in-law and Chelia is her cousin. I'm not dating either of them."
"W-what?"
She looked at me. Her face was puffy and her eyes were swollen. I had made her cry. What a jerk I was.
"I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I didn't mean to."
Suddenly, her arms flung around me. She cried and cried, but I think they were tears of joy. Thank The Lord.
"I'm so happy to hear that. I'm sorry I slapped you."
"It's ok. Everything is ok."
She sat there, clinging to me. What are mood swing that was. But, I would have to put up with it.
For her sake.
