So, this chapter won't have as much French and Spanish (update, it does). I don't know either languages, so please tell me if something is wrong.
The time was 7pm on a Sunday, even if there wasn't a school week waiting to destroy KEL's joy and pride, our mother wanted me to help KEL with studying, he had gotten awful grades in everything except Physical Education
"Alright! HENRY, por favor ayuda a KEL a estudiar. Es imposible que KEL lo haga sola. (HENRY, please help KEL study. It's impossible for KEL to do it alone.)" Our mother sighed and gave me all of KEL's homework books for every subject, except music and physical education.
"Okay!" I smiled softly as KEL grumbled.
Our mother left the room and closed the door behind her.
"So. KEL. You failed a majority of your classes. Your math grade is D. D for Damn I Can't Believe It's That Bad..." HERO sighed.
"It's not my fault! It's just very really boring! The teachers don't really like me anyways!" KEL gritted his teeth, looking away.
"What about English? It's a C, pretty medium. Can you write a sentence about yourself for me? It should be easy." I gave him a piece of paper and a blue pen, it should be enough for a sentence, or two.
"Sure! That's easy!" He smiled and immediately took the paper.
As he was writing, I was thinking of college, and if KEL was able to get into one. I assume an athletic academy? It would fit him, and also I don't believe you would need much history knowledge or something of the sorts for that..
"Done!" He happily gave me back the piece of paper...The paper said...
"HiE! my NEM is KeL! i have a beeg bro who iS Hero!! i like Oragne Joe cuz it cool. yah."
"KEL, it's decent but you'd probably need something better in detail and spelling to pass English, you're not dumb, you're just kinda ignorant..."
"I mean, yeah...They all think I'm dumb, but I'm not, they're just kinda mean." KEL sighed.
"But, still, there's room for improvement. Wanna do that later or no-"
"DUDE, I don't wanna do this at all, honest! I'm boOORED." KEL used one of his work-books to fan himself as his stomach grumbled "Do we have food ready yet? Can you cook some? What do we have, actually?"
"KEL, it's only been like a few minutes. I can cook food, but it has to be brain food." I sighed as I stood up and walked to the kitchen.
"Brain food? You're feeding me brains? But I don't mind brains, I heard they taste nice." He stood up and started walking out of the room.
As we went downstairs, I stared at the stairs.
"No, KEL. Brain food is food that gets your brain going, like more productive. It's usually vegetables, berries, fish. I studied about it for middle school or something. They're also really good for your tastebuds, and I don't mean that in a scientific way, they just taste good."
"....Ew....Vegetables..." He crossed his arms as we were now on the 1st floor.
"Gosh, KEL. You're so picky and immature." I smiled and walked to the kitchen, very really slowly.
We were now in the kitchen.
"You're already done? Wow! Or...Did KEL really annoy you? I expected such, though." MOM smiled at HERO and KEL, before the smile slightly faded away and she looked away, sarcastically.
"Well, not exactly. KEL-"
KEL hit me.
"....I wanted to eat a little, I'll make some food, is that okay? We got some stuff, I'm sure, not in the mood to go out right now!" I nodded and brightly smiled.
