When I woke up I was in the place I was in most times, the penitentiary. You might be wondering what did I do, did I kill someone? Attack violently? No I am just crazy. Yeah didn't give myself much credit there but it's true at least from what others have said, I am Kate Delclaire and I'm 15 years old most girls my age would be married and settling down but me no spending my days here in a dusty room with no one but a sheriff watching me. His name is John Caddling and was the toughest guy I know he wouldn't budge when I pleaded for food. But that's about all you would know oh wait the year is 1819 and I live in Massachusetts.
