No Strings Attached!?

The decision

  Veronica and I arrived back at the office. I showed her where she'd be working and asked her to enter the estimates I gave Jayson in the system then file his file. We discussed her duties signed some paperwork and went over the rest of our projects. I explained to her I simply need someone to keep me organized.  "I'm your new best friend," She replied "I'm a little OCD about paperwork and schedules trust me I'll get you straightened out!"
  Little did I know, Veronica and I would become the best of friends quite quickly. After that first day I asked her if she wanted to head down the street for a bite to eat with me. "Sure, we can get to know each other that way" She replied.  We headed to my favorite diner around the corner, JJs pub and grub. JJS had been a part of lakeside for as long as I could remember.  I spent many nights at Jjs as a teen dreaming of the day that Jay Street would ask me out!
  Veronica and I had an awesome dinner and great chat. She gave me a little background to her life as I did with mine. We discussed tomorrow's agenda and we left for our homes. On the way home, Jayson called. "Sorry to call after office hours" He started, "but the kids and I have discussed it and we wanna add the extra bedroom.  Its a little more than I wanted to spend but it will be worth it." I agreed! He asked, "Can we meet for drinks tonight and sign the agreement,  I have your down payment. " "Well I guess," I replied.  "I haven't made it home yet, can ya give me an hour or so to freshen up and take out my dog? I can meet you at Jjs in an hour" He said ,"see ya then!"
  I  got home, let the dog out while I changed clothes brushed my hair out and brushed my teeth. I look in the mirror and decide I need to touch up my makeup.  Wait, why am I getting so dolled up for this guy? He's a client not a date. But man, I would love to get to know how his lips taste. Oh, this may be a difficult meeting. I let my dog Luna back inside. She gives me the side eye like, "where you think you're going".... I look at her and chuckle, "moms going to get you a new daddy tonight, be good". Dear God did I just say that out loud? Thank God only Luna heard it. At that moment, I made the decision I wanted this man and I'm known for getting what I want.
