Double Date Gone Wrong

Veer's POV:

We were successful in getting the first piece of evidence without any trouble.We were giving ourselves a much deserved little break to get ready for the next target

"My favourite show is about to start",I said enthusiastically as I landed on the couch with the remote in my hand.

But wait!!!Something is missing.
What is that?

Why is it so silent?Where is the noise that would always follow when I say I'm gonna watch my fav show?

I looked around and Sameer was nowhere to be found.I searched for him and he was standing in front of the mirror,getting ready.

For what!?

"Where are you going!??!",I asked, pissed off that he wasn't fighting with me for the remote

"I am going to meet Shreya",he said casually

"But it is time for your favourite show",I said reminding him.

I mean how could he do this!?!!

"Yeah I know,but I'll just watch it another time",he said as his phone flashed with a message.

It must be her

"Oh,it seems like she is bringing some friend of her along",he said as he read the text

"Do you wanna join?",he asked as he looked at me now

"No way bro, I'm gonna watch the show...",

"She says her name is Sara......",he said grined looking at me

"What!??......umm....I think I shouldn't let you go alone...."

"Afterall,God knows what she'll try to hit you with,this time",I said scratching my neck,acting concerned for him

"Chal",he said as he laughed at my antics

I don't know what made me do that.I'm not even sure if this Sara is really her.But I will take my chances

Sara's POV

I'm sitting in a small café that was located near a carnival with my new friend who I met a few months ago.

I accidentally met her when I was returning home after a long day.She seemed to notice my mood was off and invited me to this carnival.

But it looks like she was waiting for someone and it was evident that she was nervous as she was fiddling with the hem of her dress

"Are you on a date,Shreya?",I asked to clear my confusion.

Omg if it was true,then I'll be third wheeling today

"Yea......kind of",she was blushing

"Oh no I can't be the third wheel between you and your boyfriend",I said in a single breath

"He's not my boyfriend",she replied turning all red

"And he is bringing someone along.It's high time you should loosen up a bit and enjoy the moment",she said cheerfully

"So I must hang out with a stranger?",I now glared at her

"No Sara.That's not what I meant.....",she didn't finish her sentence as she focused on someone walking towards us

"They are here" she said.

I saw two guys walking towards us.The first guy was tall and looked good in a casual tee and a jacket.
