The first note showed up after a lunch cheerleading practice. It had been a particularly shitty one, none of the other girls listened to her. Sasha had sort of expected this, considering that she was the youngest cheer captain in the school's history. She was also the first openly bi cheerleader at school as well, not that she was paying attention. So not only was no one paying attention, but she had heard one of the cheerleaders say she was probably staring at them in the locker room.
The note had fluttered out of her locker when she roughly opened it. At first Sasha thought it was a hate message(it wouldn't be the first), but then she saw a smiley face sticker on it. So she picked it up and opened it.
Sasha,
Hi, There! Sorry my writing is so bad, but I'm writing this with my left hand so that you can't figure out my identity(you're really good at figuring things out). Anyway I just wanted to let you know that you are doing a great job out there! Also that you're really pretty and cool. I hope you have a good rest of your day!
Love, Amelia(not my real name, just my middle name.)
Sasha smiled at the note, it was exactly what she needed after such a shitty practice. Her phone buzzed and she pulled it out of her pocket. She had four texts, one from her cousin, two from her best friends, and one from Sid. She opened the one from her cousin first.
Amity- Hey you doing okay? I heard what they were saying about you
Sasha- I'm fine just mad
Then she opened her best friends' texts.
Anne- We missed you at lunch today, hope cheerleading practice was good
Marcy- Anne and I found this new graphic novel I think you would like
Sasha- Practice was bleh, girls were jerks. Glad you guys had fun tho
Finally she opened Sid's text.
Sid- Meet me in the library after school for tutoring? You can tell me how cheer practice and your test went! I bet you aced both!
Sasha- Sounds good Sid. You're right about one of the things I aced...
The bell rang and Sasha put her phone away. Her hand still clasped tightly around the note. Whoever Amelia was, they made Sasha feel a lot better.

Sasha practically ran out of the classroom when the last bell rang. Tutoring with Sid was starting to become one of her favorite things about her week. When she first started tutoring with Sid, they had fought all the time.
Sasha because she didn't want to be there and Sid because Sasha was making her job impossible. After a few weeks Sid had snapped and told Sasha to fuck off and read the damn textbook. Sasha began to respect Sid after that and actually began to do the work.
When she got there, Sid was doodling in her sketchbook. Sasha put down her backpack and sat down. Sid looked up. "Hey you!" She said and put down her sketchbook. "How was the science test?" Sid asked and Sasha smiled. "I got a B+!" She said and Sid did jazz hands, they were in the library after all. "Yay! That's awesome Sasha. How was cheer practice?" She asked and Sasha's smile dropped.
"No one is listening to me and they keep saying biphobic shit." She mumbled and Sid reached over and grabbed her hand. "Oh my god, that sucks. I'm sorry they keep saying that stuff to you. It's my fault anyway." Sid mumbled that last part and Sasha looked over at her confused. "How is it your fault Sid?" She asked.
"I'm the one that encouraged you to come out. If it hadn't been for me, you probably would have more people paying attention to you and people wouldn't be saying that awful stuff about you. I'm really sorry you have to go through this because of me." Sid rambled and Sasha grabbed her face.
