Chapter 6:

Luke's POV*
I was already up, making breakfast for me and my lovely girls. Cassie "what are you doing up so early", Luke "making breakfast for me and my beautiful girls", Cassie "we'll it smells really good", I kissed the top of Cassie's head, Luke "are all the girls still sleeping", Cassie "yeah, they are still sleeping. I'm so happy your back home", Luke "I'm glad to be home", Brooklyn "mommy, daddy", Cassie "you aren't tired honey", Brooklyn "no", I watched as Cassie tickled her playfully, Brooklyn "daddy help me, tickle mommy please", I went over to the couch and started tickling Cassie, she let out the loudest laugh and it was so cute. Luke "it's really good to be home", Cassie "I'm glad you are home, I missed you so much", Luke "I missed you too", Cassie takes a picture of Brooklyn.

She posted it on her social media with the caption, "me and Luke just spending time with our oldest baby girl, she's the only one awake at the moment. Love waking up to that beautiful smile of hers, I feel blessed having her as my princess. I love you my sweet Brooklyn", Ava "daddy", Luke "good morning Ava", Ava "where is mommy", Cassie "right here princess", Ava "mommy I threw up", Cassie "are you feeling sick", Ava "little bit", Cassie "alright let's get you back in bed then",
Cassie takes Ava back to her room, after putting her down for a nap, she gets Jayden and London who just woke up. Luke "full house", Cassie "yep, no school today", Luke "I'll serve breakfast", Cassie "okay, not too much for London and Jayden", Luke "I know babe. Did you feed Peaches", Cassie "wouldn't you have done that, you were up first", Luke "lol, I'll feed her could you take her for a walk", Cassie "yeah sure", Brooklyn "can I come with you mommy", Cassie "yes but you need to eat some of your breakfast first", Brooklyn "okay mommy". Jayden didn't want much so I let him have his playtime in the living room, Cassie "Brooke you ready", Brooklyn "yes mommy", Cassie "babe keep an eye on them, especially the one sleeping", Luke "I will", while Cassie and Brooke left to the walk the dog, I noticed a few pieces of paper stacked, I went over to it and picked it up, it was a new song that Cassie was writing, I loved it. She was so good at writing her music, and I was beyond proud of her. Cassie "we're back. Hey, are you reading the lyrics to my new song", Luke "sorry couldn't help myself", Cassie "it's okay, by the way the shooting and filming for the video is this week and the album drops this weekend", Luke "look at you, I'm so proud of you. Are you having a release party", Cassie "yes which means you get to attend that party", Luke "yeah, I know. I missed the last one so I get to attend this one with you and our lovely family", Cassie "I already have our outfits picked out for the video and you and the girls are singing in the song", Luke "I can't sing", Cassie "it doesn't have to be perfect babe, this album is about you and our life together", Luke "okay, I'll do it since you mean the world to me", Cassie "you better", Luke "lol. Wanna watch a movie with the kids", Cassie "sure", me, Cassie and the kids sat on the couch and just watched a couple of Disney movies. Luke "can we talk", Cassie "is everything okay", Luke "this is something serious", Cassie "okay, why don't you girls go in the room and play", Brooklyn takes her sisters and brother to the playroom, Cassie "Luke what's going on, you're starting to worry me", Luke "there was this orphanage, where I was serving", Cassie "Luke", Luke "babe just listen to me", Cassie "okay", Luke "there was this girl there, all the kids there have pictures. I noticed her picture and her name even more", Cassie "where is this going", Luke "her last name is Salazar", Cassie "Luke where is this going", Luke "did you have a daughter before we met", Cassie "not now", Luke "please, we don't keep secrets from each other", Cassie "Luke I was raped when I was younger. I got pregnant as a result, I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep it, so I didn't because I was scared", Luke "you didn't have to keep it from me, she can't stay there",
Cassie "I don't even know her, I've never met her before", Luke "but what if she knows and remembers you", Cassie "I'm not ready for that, to look her in the eye and tell her I didn't mean to leave her there", Luke "everyone gets a second chance babe, you'll will get the second chance with her", Cassie "I hope so", Luke "I arranged to pick her tomorrow morning", Cassie "Luke", Cassie "calm down, just rearrange the last room", Cassie "babe she's gonna hate me", Luke "no she isn't. Just fix the room", Cassie "okay".
The next morning

(Ariel Rae Salazar : turning 10)

Luke "I am on my way to pick her up right now", Cassie "okay babe", Luke "don't be afraid or scared, she's gonna remember you and I don't think she's gonna be upset at you". Cassie and the kids stood in the house while Luke went to go pick Ariel up. Cassie had everything set up, Brooklyn "we have another sissy", Cassie "yeah baby". Within a hour in walked Luke, Luke "where are the girls", Cassie "napping", Luke "Ariel",  Cassie "honey I did not ever want to hurt you, I never wanted to leave you, I was just scared", Ariel "it's okay mommy, I'm not mad or upset at you", Cassie opened her arms and her eldest was in tears, what Cassie thought would be a hard reunion turned into the best reunion possible for the both of them. Cassie "do you wanna see your room", Ariel "yeah mommy", Cassie took Ariel to her room, she was surprised and happy.
