｡⁠*ﾟ⁠+(Y/n)'s POV｡⁠*ﾟ⁠+

Jay: "Focus, Lloyd. Control the power inside you. When you feel a surge welling up... Harness it."

Lloyd: "I understand. I am in control..."

Lloyd continues to try and control lightning in the lightbulb while we stood in the side.

Jay: "Come on, Lloyd. You can do it."

And again. The lightbulb breaks into pieces. I sighed as I knew that was the last lightbulb we had to use for Lloyd's training.

Lloyd: "Argh! Stupid light bulb! You're putting too much pressure on me. Let me have one more try."

Kai: "Sorry, Lloyd, that was the last lightbulb."

(Y/n): "And I know you feel like they are putting too much pressure on you but that's how I felt when I was very young when my father made me train here in the dojo."

Lloyd: "Really? But why?"

(Y/n): "Well, to control my- um... Uh...."

I didn't want them to know about my powers yet so I tried making a lie.

(Y/n): "Uh... anger? Oh, yea! Anger! Yes! I needed to control my anger since I was always very angry with things so I needed to control it when I'm fighting. I would always break things so easily."

Kai: "So that explains how you broke the 50 planks that your father tried to break yesterday."

After what happened yesterday, the ninja came back as they wanted to train Lloyd again. The 50 planks were still there from yesterday as my father's students were about to take them away.

(Y/n): "Wait. Leave them there."

They looked at me confused until they shrugged as they walked away, leaving the 50 planks behind.

Darreth: "What are you planning?"

(Y/n): "Dad, you said if I break many planks, I can get a splinter. You never gave me a chance to break one."

Darreth: "That's because you can easily get hurt and I don't want you to get hurt."

(Y/n): "But dad-"

Darreth: "No buts! You cannot and I mean can't break those planks!"

(Y/n): "Watch me! Watch me break those planks!"

In anger, I hit the 50 boards with my hand as they broke. I looked at my hand as I saw there wasn't any splinter.

(Y/n): "See? I don't got one!"

Everyone was silent.

(Y/n): "What?"

I looked back at the 50 boards to see they are broken. My eyes widen as I didn't expect them to break. Oops...
