"Calm down little brother.." Merle began, until
Jackson had swung his fist straight at the man's
nose, everyone watched in shock as they watched the scene unfold before them.

"You disgust me." Jax spat, glaring his brother
down as he wiped the blood away from his nose.

"I guess I deserved that one.." Merle muttered.
looking back up at Jax who still looked angry.

"You deserve a lot more." Jax told him with a glare before his gaze shifted to the unconscious girl in the trunk.

Merle followed where his baby brother was looking and caught sight of the beaten girl "Don't tell me my baby brothers in love with a traitor" Merle asked him, motioning towards the twins, "Your picking some ass over your own family?" He sneered, now judging his brother.

"She is not a traitor." Jax defended her, "She has treated me better than you ever have, and so what if I like her?! In the two weeks I've known her she's made everything worth living!" He said in a low tone that was laced with poison.
All he could do was remember how Merle had moved out and left him with their abusive father without a care of what would happen to him or Daryl. Kassiopeia was his family now, his girl, and he was never going to leave her.  And with that, he stormed away from the older man, leaving him glaring at his back, and he headed straight for Daryl, who had grabbed their bags from the car. "I'm not going with you." He revealed, as Daryl tilted his head in confusion, "You're my brother. I love you, and I always will. And we will meet again, but for now, I gotta stick with the group" He explained, as Daryl actually nodded in understanding, having felt like Jax wouldn't actually come with them especially with the critical state his love choice was in.
Daryl reached out and pulled his younger brother in for a hug.

'Take care, baby bro." He said, as they both hugged, saying their goodbyes. Of course he was devastated that he may not see his brother again, but the apocalypse had changed them all, and he had partly expected this from him. He was a better man than him and Merle could ever be, and he couldn't be more proud of him.

"Take care." Jax repeated, as Daryl finally
pulled away and gave him one last smile, before
walking towards Merle, who began smiling at
the fact that one of his brothers was coming
with him.

Mason walked over to the boy and looked over him quizitivly, "You didn't leave? Why?" He asked.

Jax turned to look at him with a sad smile, "I promised your sister that two would have a safe place with us and" Jax looked over to the girl, "I don't think I could ever leave her." Jax told him.

Mason looked over him with a sceptical look before letting it fall as it was replaced with a small smile as he patted Jackson's shoulder, "you know what, I'm gonna let this whole thing play out because she talks about you so much but I swear if you hurt my baby sister there'll be hell to pay" before Jax could say anything in response Mason was already headed back towards his twin. Jax smiled lightly before he too followed back to the car.

The group sat in complete silence as they drove
down the road and away from Woodbury - no
one exactly knew what to say to one another.
They had lost one of their own, another had left
them, and two of them were severely beaten to the point where they could barely walk, what else could be said? Even Rick, the leader of the group, didn't know what to say, and so he, too, stayed completely silent. Even when they had to get out of the car so they could clear the road to get the car moving again, not another word was spoken,
Mason moved by Maggie's side as they headed
towards the empty beaten down truck, just as a
walker fell out of the passenger side, straight
onto Glenn. Everyone pulled their guns out in preparation to shoot the walker, only to see that he had shoved the walker onto the ground and started slamming his foot down on the dead ones head. Glenn grunting in pain as he did so. Nobody had never seen Glenn like this before, it was like he was seriously pissed off about what had happened back in that town - how couldn't he be? He felt so guilty that he didn't stop the
Governor from touching his girlfriend, or kill the man that had almost beat the poor girl to death all of that, and when they went back in, the men
lived, after everything they did.

"You didn't kill them." Glenn yelled furiously at Rick, as the man approached him to find out if he was doing okay. Rick looked taken aback at what Glenn had said- considering that the boy had been so against killing people since he had first met him, to think that the Governor had changed him this much, scared the man.

"That's not why we went back." Rick told him, after a few seconds of silence. Glenn clenched his jaw in anger, how the hell was that not a logical reason to kill two people who one assaulted and the other beaten two women. Everyone was unsure as to why Glenn was acting like this, the same as Rick, the boy wasn't acting like himself.

"No. That's right. You went back for Daryl. And now he's gone again, and the Governor is still alive." Glenn snapped at Rick, annoyed at his choices in running this group, he believed that they should have gone back in their to kill the Governor, and nothing else.

"Daryl was the priority." Rick explained calmly,
knowing that Glenn was just hurt right now at
the fact the man was still walking around
without a care in the world.

Rick had no clue as to what was going on, only Glenn, Maggie, Mason and Kassiopeia knew what had happened to them back in that town. "I should have been there with you." Glenn said,
the guilt eating him alive.

"You were in no condition." Rick reasoned,
unsure as to why this was upsetting Glenn so
much.

"But Maggie was?" Glenn finally snapped, annoyed that everyone was so concerned about Daryl, that they had forgotten what himself, Maggie and the poor girl had gone through.

Maggie cringed at his words, knowing that he was bound to let something slip, and this was that time, "Glenn, stop. This isn't about me." She
finally spoke up, standing next to Mason at the
end of the truck, the two waiting to push it
away from the road so they could drive past it.

"You didn't come back with us because you
could barely walk, just like that little girl in the car who's barely conscious" Rick explained, growing frustrated at the boys words and his judging.

"What about her?" Glenn finally shouted, Maggie
closed her eyes as she let out a breathe, frustrated at the whole situation. "Do you know what he did to her?!?" He yelled, pointing his finger harshly at Rick, who's eyebrows furrowed in confusion at what the boy was trying to say. "After all that effort, all the risk we took, Daryl just took off with Merle." Glenn finished, he was so mad at what the Governor and his henchmen could get away with.

"He had his reasons." Rick said, knowing that
Jackson wouldn't appreciate Glenn talking down
about his brother in front of him. But when he
looked over at Jax, he was already headed back to the car to go check on Kassiopeia.

Glenn scoffed, "Yeah. You keep telling yourself
that, Rick." He snapped, still annoyed at the
man for his calls and his orders. He would have
killed the Governor in a heartbeat if he had the
choice. "It doesn't change the fact that we're up
to our necks in shit." He complained.

"You want me to turn the car around, beg him
to come back? Throw out the welcome mat
for Merle? This is the hand we've been dealt."
Rick shouted back, finally loosing his temper at
Glenn and his complaining. He was doing
everything he could for this group, he was
putting his heart and soul into leading
everyone, and he may not be perfect, but he was
trying.

"Guys, let's just push this truck outta the way
and get back home, okay?" Maggie called out,
wanting Rick to calm down and stop yelling
at Glenn - it wasn't the boys fault, he has had a
rough two days, just like she had.

Everybody just wanted to get back home to relax, and get some well needed sleep, god knows she needed it. "Yeah. We'll get some rest, then we can talk about it there." Maggie agreed, placing both of her hands on the back of the truck, along with
Mason, as they waited for the men to come over
and help them.

"No. You guys do all the talking you want."
Glenn said, now calmer than before as he had
drained every ounce of energy he had left. "I'm
done." He told them all. He was just tired.
Rick kept his eyes on Glenn as he headed back
towards the wheel to steer the truck away from
the road, before he joined the two and came back to the back of the truck, ready to push. And with
that, they were finally on their way back home.
