Emily slowly opened her eyes despite how much she just wanted to roll over and continue to sleep but she knew that she had to get up and get ready for work. That was until she noticed that this wasn't her room, nor her bed. Then it hurt she had gone home with JJ...  And to her surprise she found herself wearing only her black lace bra and panties in JJ's bed. She turned her head to see the blonde still fast asleep. Emily couldn't get past how peaceful JJ looked, the way her mouth was curved slightly upward at the corners as though she was having a good dream. Emily didn't want to ruin it by waking the blonde up so she carefully untangled from the sheets getting out of the bed. She then walked around the room collecting her clothes and putting them on. "Emily..." JJ said sitting up in the bed noticing her. Emily looked over her shoulder, "Morning sleepy head" she remarked with a smile. "God what happened last night? All I can remember was drinking than dancing on the dance floor but other then that all I know is that I have a massive headache." With that her chest flutter with panic, JJ didn't remember that they had kissed and probably slept together. "What's wrong you look so sad" concern was evident on the blondes face. Emily returned to her smile, "Oh nothing, nothing at all. As for last night... Well we all got more drunk then called a taxi to take us back to your place because it was closest. Although I think Garcia ended up going home with one of the guy's she had met back at the bar who she seemed to have taken a liking to. Before JJ could respond both of their phones went off, it was Hotch telling them that they had a case briefing in a half hour. "Shit" Emily remarked. "What?" "I won't have time to go home and get changed... Oh well." She sighed and shook her head. "I am sure that something of mine could fit you." JJ said her gaze flicking to the open closet. Before getting up out of the bed. Emily glanced away as to not be caught staring but she had to admit JJ did look quite sexy. "Here" JJ said to get Emily's attention before tossing her a pair of jeans and a flannel shirt. "Those should fit, anyways i'm going to hit the shower, see you in a few." With that JJ exited into the bathroom and within a minute Emily could hear the water start. Emily put on the shirt and jeans. She was surprised by the fact they actually fit considering the fact she had wider hips and a bigger bust than the blonde. It was kind of ironic however considering stereotypes the fact the shirt was flannel.

Morgan raised an eyebrow curiously when Emily walked in. Emily rolled her eyes walking over to him, "What is with you?" "Is it a new fashion statement?""What a fashion statement" Emily couldn't help but find herself very confused. "The flannel..."She let out a very audible groan, "I spent the night at JJ's last night..." His face filled with surprise, "wait did anything happen?""No... Okay maybe. Look I can't really remember it and she doesn't remember anything." With that Emily went to walk towards the conference not at all wanting to continue this conversation it was downright humiliating.  Morgan reached out and grabbed her arm gently pulling her to face him. "You are not getting away that easily. Explain" he finished pointedly. "Alright fine" she threw her hands up in surrender. "During girls night well we all had one too many beers and well I kissed her out on the dance floor and well all was good and well. In other words she returned the kiss. But then I woke up in her bed the next morning and I honestly can't remember if we actually had sex. I mean we weren't completely naked so that could mean nothing happened..." She looked at him hopefully. "Oh Em." He just pulled her into a hug. "You know you are going to have to tell her what happened." "I know, it's just what if it was just the alcohol talking and she doesn't well want anything to do with me." Emily was having a hard time choking down the tears that were threatening to stream down her face. She took a deep breath, she felt like a vulnerable teenager right now in front of Morgan especially with what she had just told him. "Em you know that isn't true-" before he could finish Emily had pulled away from his grasp and walked into the woman's bathroom. Once she was inside the bathroom she shut herself into one of the stalls sinking to the ground allowing herself to collapse into self-doubt and tears.

Morgan couldn't help but feel useless as he watched Emily run away. There wasn't anything he could do to help and he hated it. He hated seeing his best friend hurt so much when she shouldn't have to. He glanced over at the conference room where Hotch was trying to get his attention. He had no choice but to go join the rest of the team. As soon as the door shut Hotch spoke "Where did Emily go?" Morgan could tell Hotch really wanted to know what was wrong with her because it was quite obvious the whole team had been profiling them from the inside the conference room. "Look she just needs a moment, she isn't having a good day. Now what is the case?" He said in a tone that conveyed to them to drop the subject. Hotch gave him one last worried look before turning his attention to the case. "There have been a string of kidnappings of young women and men." Morgan couldn't help but find it odd most kidnappers don't go for both genders. "Was there any connection between them?" "That was what I was getting to.Nineteen year old Henry Mikealson was the most recent to be kidnapped and the only one to survive. He just entered surgery a few hours ago and we are going to be there to question him when he gets out to determine what the connection is between him and the rest of the victims." Hotch's gaze shifted around the room, "Wheels up in thirty, someone can update Prentiss on the flight."

Emily walked up to the sink splashing water on her face to hid the fact she had been crying, she honestly didn't want the rest of the team asking her questions. She reached for the door and opened it. She still didn't want to talk to Morgan so she avoided him by walking downstairs, she couldn't help but notice a little girl sitting all by herself outside of one of the rooms. Her parents must be talking to one of the detectives. She walked over and took a seat next to her. "Hi there" the girl said, her voice was quieter then Emily had been expecting."I'm Emily but you can call me Em." "Sofia." The girl studied her for a moment, "Why do you look so sad?"Em chuckled, "That noticeable?" Sofia nodded. "Lets just say I love someone more than a friend but I don't want to lose them as a friend" Emily tried to explain. "Well why would you lose them if you just love them more than they thought you did..." Sofia said simply. Before she could even think of a way to answer the girl, the girls parents exited the room they were in with the detective. Emily waved goodbye as the girl left, but she couldn't get what she had said out of her head. Somehow it gave her a new hope that felt different then the strands of hope she had been trying to cling to. She felt her phone buzz in her pocket, she pulled it out seeing a text from Hotch saying they were leaving in 10. Em sighed getting up from where she was seated and headed upstairs. She grabbed the carry on she kept under her desk for emergency cases along with the case folder Reid had conveniently left there for her. Emily couldn't help but to notice that she was the last one on the plane and that the entire team was staring at her concerned. She bit her lip her gaze finding JJ, she took a deep breath before walking up to her. "JJ... we need to talk." JJ's gaze shifted to the rest of the team who were still staring at them with renewed interest, then back to Emily. "Have you been crying?" the concern was evident in her voice. "That doesn't matter. Look I have to say something you don't even have to say anything back you just have to listen." Emily paused looking at JJ for a response, and in return she received a nod. "I love you... I've loved you since the first time I saw you I just didn't know it fully then. I love your every smile, every laugh, the way when you talk about something you love your face lights up. I love every bit of you, I loved our first kiss even if you may not remember it and we were as drunk-" Emily was cut off when JJ pressed her lips against hers pulling her into a kiss. Emily closed her eyes, taken totally by surprise. "I love you to you idiot." JJ said with a grin. And almost as if on cue the team all clapped. Emily laughed feeling positively giddy as she took a seat next to JJ on the plane.
