"Turn around, let me see" Niall's mom, Maura, said as one of my bride maids zipped up my wedding dress. I turned around to see Maura's jaw drop. "Absolutely stunning" she gasped.

I turned my head to look in the mirror. A white wedding dress covered in lace draped over my body and behind me like a soft waterfall. My hair falling in small curls behind my shoulders. My face and arms no longer skinny.

It had been three months of planning before this day. These past weeks I couldn't wait for this day to finally arrive and now I'm standing here. Now that I think about it, the butterflies were almost convincing me to not get married. It wouldn't be fair for Niall or his family so I couldn't do anything but feel nauseas for the rest of the day. "I'm so nervous" I said as my dad's fiancé placed a veil on my head.

I told my dad a week ago that I was getting married and both him and his fiancé flew down here without a flinch of hesitation. My dad's fiancé, Amy, was like a mother to me. Of course we've only just met a couple hours ago and yet we talked like bestfriends. I decided to make her one of my brides maids along with two of my best friends, Riley and Lauren, from Phenix.

Everyone gasped and cheered as I spun around, the dress spinning with my movement. "I can't believe you're getting married!" Lauren shrieked. "It seemed like it was only yesterday that we were stuffing our mouths with ice cream and complaining how stupid boys were" she laughed.

"He is one lucky groom" Riley smiled.

"Thanks for coming guys. Seriously, it means a lot to me" I said. My stomach growled.

"Someone's hungry" Riley laughed. She reached into her purse and pulled out a napkin, handing it to me.

"What's this?" I asked as I unfolded the napkin to see a three cookies staked on top one another.

"They're cookies, I sneaked them from the food table in the wedding reception room. That, my friends, is Riley. She loved sweets, it wouldn't surprise me if the entire food table disappeared. When ever she would always shove cookies or candy in her purse, she'd shrug and say it was her 'emergency stash'. For Riley, a growling stomach was always an emergency.

"Thanks but no thanks, I don't think I'll be able to keep anything down today. The last thing I need is to puke all over the aisle" I said, giving her the cookies back.

Riley shrugged, "more for me"

"Oh darling, it's just wedding jitters. Every bride gets them on her wedding day. Don't think about it too much and you'll be fine." Maura said reassuringly.

"Easier said than done" I sighed. The door swung open. We all turned our heads to see Michael, Bob, and my dad walk in. They were both wearing black suits with purple ties.

"You look... beautiful" my dad and Michael both said in unison.

"You look just like your mother" my dad said.

I could feel a lump in my throat rise, "thank you" I choked out.

"You've done it now dear. If you make her cry, she'll ruin her make up and then we'll have to start all over again" Amy complained as she nudge him in the ribs.

"I guess you're right. That reminds me, everyone's waiting. It's time" my dad smiled. Those last words sent butterflies in my stomach. I was more nauseas than before.

Everyone walked out, leaving my dad and I in silence. I walked to an open window, starring out into a fresh green feild. The cool breeze feeling good against my skin. This was it. I'd be spending the rest of my life with the person I loved. Who knew is only take six months to find my other half. The missing puzzle piece.
