"Magnus, let's go tell the Alec the good news." I said

"Let's go, my star." he said grabbing my hand

After getting some sleep, we went and check the core and the ley lines. We finally found Alexander and Isabelle.

"Good news; the core is off the ley line grid and free of demonic corruption." magnus told him as we walked further into the room.

"that's good news. Thank you." Alec said weirdly

"All righty than... we'll make ourselves scarce." I said as we started walking away

"We just got a fire message from mom, saying she's 'dropping by' for an impromptu 'family dinner'." Isabelle said doing a lot of air quoting

"That's a lot of are quotes." Magnus said

"Mom doesn't just drop by for anything." Alexander told us

"Yeah. We're thinking it has to do with her and dad. They're finally making their divorce official." Isabelle told us as we walked closer to them

"Our condolences." I told on behalf of magnus and I

"it's for the best. problem is, instead of just being sad like a normal person, she's starts trying to fix everyone around her." Isabelle told us

"Which usually includes grilling her children on everything he thinks is going wrong in their lives." Alec said

"So..." I started

"Where are you holding this suspenseful dinner?" Magnus finished asking

"Definitely not here." Isabelle said

"The Institute tends to bring out her inner Inquisitor." Alec said

"How about our place?" I asked

"Stella, magnus, you don't have to---" Alec started

"We insist. You can have the place all to yourselves." Magnus told them

"Wait. Y'all should be there." Isabelle said

I started shaking my head alongside Magnus looking at her

"Think about it: if Magnus and stella are there being their usual charming selves... mom won't have time to interrogate us." Isabelle said

I couldn't help but agree with her. Magnus and I are amazing.

"We are charming." Magnus and I said

"Y'all don't think it's too much?" Alec asked

"'Too much' is my middle name." Magnus said

I laughed before going up to Alec.

"Look, clearly this is important to you. Meaning... it's important to us." I said holding his hand. before I knew it, Magnus grabbed our hands.

Suddenly, I felt a sensation. I closed my eyes... Raphael.

"I have to go. I shall be back in a little bit." I said 

"Is everything alright?" Alec asked me

"Yes, my mijito is calling me though." I said opening a portal to him

"Is he okay?" Isabelle asked

"Yes, he is. It's more personal than physical though. I shall be back." I said walking through the portal

"Are you okay, mijo?" I asked

"Yes. I was wondering if you could take Rosa back to the care home. I have some business I need to take care of." he said
