The end or the beginning

Start from the beginning

"We're also having another baby," Spencer said.

"What?! You guys are having another kid?" Penelope asked.

"Congratulations," Hotch said as he gave Spencer and me a hug.

"His pull-out game isn't that strong is it?" Derek asked me.

I hit him on his shoulder and he started laughing.

"No, but seriously guys, I'm really happy for you guys," Derek said.

"Well thank you, all of you. You all changed my life in more ways than one. I came here with one purpose, to do my job and I ended up being intertwined with the best people I've ever met. People who have changed me for the better and now I'm a wife and mother was a part of a team that became family, so thank you, all of you." I said.

We had another group hug moment. I love those group hugs.

"OK, I have to go back home, see how my daughters doing, and I will see you later," I said as I kissed Spencer and said goodbye to the team.

This wasn't the end for us, it was just the beginning.

Hours pass and Spencer finally comes home. He kisses me on the cheek.

"Hi, Your food is in the fridge," I said while I was sitting on the table.

"You cooked for me? You didnt even know if I'd be home."

"You were bound to come home anyway unless you have another family and another wife that cooks for you, that you're not telling me about."

"That's not funny. You know I would never do that." Spencer said.

"I know. I'm just kidding." I said with a smile on my face.

"There's something I want to show you," Spencer said.

"Ok, what's up?" I asked.

Spencer stood next to me so I turned my position on the chair to face him. He lifted his shirt sleeve to show me his forearm.

I was in complete awe.

"Spencer, that's a tattoo."

"yeah."

"That's my name."

"Yeah."

I started to cry and he hugged me, then wiped my tears.

"I'm sorry, I didnt mean to make you cry." He said.

"No, I love it. It's beautiful." I said wiping the rest of my tears.

"Mommy, are you going to come tuck me into bed?" Reina said as she came out of her room.

"Duty calls, I'll be right back," I said to Spencer before walking into Reina's room.

She showed me a picture she drew right before I tucked her in.

"What is this, darling?" I asked.

"It's a picture of you and Dad fighting the bad guys." She responded.

"It's really beautiful but sweetheart, we don't fight the bad guys together anymore."

"why?"

"Well, I decided to take to be a stay-at-home mom to take care of you," I said.

"But there are other bag guys out there."

"Yes there is but your father can handle them. All I care about is you, now go to bed."

"Well, will you ever tell me the story of how you and Dad met?." She said.

"One day sweetheart, now go to sleep."

"ok, Goodnight." She said.

I went back into the living room and Spencer was watching TV.

"You finished eating already?" I asked.

"Yeah. What's in your hand?" He asked.

"Just a picture that Reina drew. I said as I sat on his lap sideways.

"Is that supposed to be you and me?" Spencer said with a smile on his face.

"Yes, you are very picture-genic. Not to mention she asked about how we met."

"Oh yeah, that's a really tough one to explain." He said.

I couldn't help but smile at him.

"Why are you smiling?" He asked.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." He said.

I got up and went to the bathroom then came out of the bathroom and stood by our room doorframe.

"Are you coming?" I asked.

"Well, I was going to watch some more episodes of Criminal Minds first—"

"I'm not wearing any underwear."

"Yes, Ma'am. I'll be right there." Spencer said as he turned off the TV.

It never gets old being married to the person you love. I came to the BAU because I had a mission to complete, and instead, I met the love of my life. Things don't always turn out the way that you expect and in my case, I'm so glad that it didn't.

This isn't the end for us. It's the beginning.

THE END!
