I sat down at the library across from a boy that I have been talking to I'll be honest I kinda like him

I picked up my book and here and there I would peak up at him I looked back down at my book read a few lines I looked back up and he was already looking at me he quickly looked back at his book I pulled out my note book and ripped a small piece of paper and I wrote down

"hi!!"

I flicked the paper across the table I wached him pick it up then look at me I rolled the pen across the table and he starting writing done something then flicked the paper back and rolled the pen

I picked up the paper it said

"Hello." I

I wrote back "what's ur favorite Steven king book?"

I flicked the paper and the pen He started writing back and flicked the paper and pen it said "finders keepers"

I looked at him and smiled he slightly smiled

We passed notes for abt a hour

I thought for while and asked.

"Wanna maybe go to the museum together like... as a date? :)"

I saw him look at me then the paper then me again the started writing And rolled the pen and flicked the paper I picked it up and it said

"Hm.. sure,, when"

I wrote back "Monday 2:00?"

"Alr"

I wrote back "I'll meet u at ur house what's ur address?"

"Maple street 2110" he wrote

I looked at him and nodded

I woke up kinda late tbh, I woke up at 12 showered ate and got ready I looked in the mirror I thought I looked good🤭

I walked to his house and I knocked on the steps

I knock on his door and his mother answered I said "hello!"

She said "Ohh who are u?"

"I'm supposed to take griffin to the museum" I said

She smiled and said "oh thank god! He needs to talk and meet people he only goes to the library and stays home!"

Then she said "honestly thank you for taking him somewhere"

I smiled and slowly nodded "no problem"

Then she turns and yells "GRIFFIN"

I watch him walk down the stairs and say "yes mama"

"Ur friend is her"

He said "oh yea" I watch him his shoes on

He comes out and the mother comes back to the door and hands me a paper of her number "please take him more often"

I say "I will" griffin says

Then mom starts to close the door and she yells "love you my baby bird!"

I look at him and he is embarrassed and says "I love u 2.." and she shuts the door

We walk to the museum then he says in a bit of a sadish but yet kinda happy

"I can't believe I found someone that like me"

I look at him I felt horrible I knew people beat on him quite a lot when I would ask him he would deny it but he would come to the library all bruised

I smiled and said "well yea why would I like you?"

He smiled and we walked into the museum and he said "wanna go get ice cream after?.."

I look at him and I say  "sure"

We walked around the museum and looked at everything it was silent most of it but it was comforting we held each other's hand

We kinda got bored fast tbh I looked at him and said "wanna leave"

He looked at me and nodded

I gave a quick peck on the cheek and said "alr"

He touched his cheek and smiled

I held his and lead him out the door "let's go to the ice cream place around the corner" he said

"Okay!" I said and we walked to the ice cream place called "freeze brain"

We walk in the place I look at him and say "what do u want"

He said "soft serve vanilla with rainbow sprinkles"

I smiled and said "okay ima get cookie dough"

We ordered and  walked to the park and sat on the swings as we ate our ice cream

He said "thank you y/n"

I said "forrrr?"

He smiled and said "you and just everything..."

I smiled "that's sweet griffin"

We swung for a little longer

"I can walk u home?" I say

He says "no no it's okay I can walk you home"
I smile and say "okay"

We get off the swings bc we finished our ice cream

I awkwardly say "I- uhh can I kiss you..?" I wanted to know bc I didn't know how he really felt

He went red "oh heh sure" I was nervous I leaned in and kissed him

He laughed a bit and we actually talked a lot while he walked me home I got up to my door and said "bye bye birdie" I kinda teased him bc what his mom calls him

He laughed "sleep well"

"You too!" I closed the door
