It all started with an INTERVIEW

~~~CHAPTER NINE~~~

"I can not lose you Lanie, You are the only big sis I have. I do not know what I would do" I just smiled at him.

"You won't be losing me" I drag him down to give him a hug.

"Now why the hell are you on every social media site?" He asked earning a laugh from me.

"Did I not warn you not to let some white boy in your coochie? Well, he does not look white but stills." He just knows how to make a situation better.

"Long story short someone took a photo of us," I said

Ander stepped in while knocking on the door to alarm us of his entrance. He passed me a packet of pills and a glass of water. "Thank you Ander, we will be leaving shortly."

"Sorry Melanie but all the drivers are out on duty and some shifts are over already. Melly got your siblings' room ready for their night over. It's just you who has to decide whether to stay or risk calling a cab. Getting a cab in the spotlight all over the media is dangerous. You could be kidnapped" Okay he got me at the kidnapped part.

Turning to Hadrien I asked "Are you guys okay with staying here for the night?"

"Yea we are."

"What about your classes?"

"I have my a lecture at 1 pm tomorrow and Arri got her's at 9 am.

"Okay, so tomorrow we will leave early in the morning so Arri can get herself ready and prepare for class." Turning to Ander I smiled and thanked him. He nodded and turned to leave.

"Um, Melanie, Melodious would like to talk to you for a bit when your ache is over" Then he left.

Sighing but I knew deep down we had to have that talk. A couple of minutes later Hadrien left to talk to Arrieala about staying the night while I rest for a while. It is now 9 pm and I know I have to talk to him eventually. I got up to make my way to his office but I don't know the way from here so I followed the stair down hoping that I will see their living room.

The entrance door came into view so I just turned left. Reaching their living room I found three people discussing in the armchairs. Melodious was one of them. I quickly turned to leave before any of them saw me.

"Leaving so quickly Melanie?" Pausing in my tracks I quickly mustered up a polite smile while I turned back around.

"Good night, I did not want to interrupt. My apologies, I will leave now" Please do not refuse my not-wanting-to-be-here invitation.

I am not able to see their faces clearly, only Melodious since he was facing the doorway to the Livingroom. The person got up and started to approach me. As he comes into view I realize how he has some of Melodious feature. He must be his dad.

"Nonsense, Please join us after all you are soon to be my daughter in law " This statement had me choking to death. Melodious got up to get me some water. "Sorry if I startled you." His dad, I assume apologises.

Melodious led me over to his armchair placing me on his lap. I tried to get up but he held me firm, squeezing my hands. I tried to get up but he then whispered in my ears. "I will clear this up later so just sit your fine ass on my lap and act like you belong there" Every hair on my skin stood alert. Why does my body react this way after all he did.

"Sorry for that again, I am Melodious dad, Bryce Solace and this is my Wife Marie." His dad introduces his self.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Mr Solace" Remembering what Melodious did earlier I sunk my elbows in his arms just to hear him grunt under me. Serve you right bitch. Don't you play with a black woman. After a couple mins of torturing him with my weight and elbows his dad announce that he will be leaving. Too bad because I was enjoying our conversation.

"Have a great night, Hopefully, I see you soon" I said while I just smiled at Marie. She does not seem to like me.

"She seems bitchy" I whispered to Melodious as he lift me up dropping me on the ground.

"Hey!" I shouted at him but he just walked off. Deciding to follow him we ended up in his room.

"Just leave." He said sounding drained

"You said we needed to talk and what was that down there with your dad?"

"That's none of your business just leave me alone and be gone by morning" Did he just. Oh no he did not. I jumped on top of him using a pillow trying to suffocate him. Fucking idiot what does I look like to him.

"Are you mad, stop it Melanie!" He screamed trying to push the pillow from his face. Somehow he managed to grab the pillow from my hands and threw it somewhere in the room. He flipped us around pinning both of my hands above my head.

"Settle Be-Truth and stop being a pain" The look in his eyes screamed frustration so I smirked up at him knowing the fact that he is stuck with me because of the contract I signed last night and how much of a pain I am to him.

"Listen I need you to marry me okay"

"What!" I screamed in his face. "Are you mad?"

"In return, I will find you the quickest lung donor for your dad" With him being on top of me I sulk myself further into his bed wondering what to do.
