Maths Class
I love Maths!
The teacher walks in and starts class, everyone is shouting answers.
Last 5 min of class.
"Okay class, before I leave, I will give you all some holiday homework."
The class exasperatedly says,
"Maaaaaaaaaaaaam!"
"Don't you maaaaaaaaaaaaam me, note it down quickly before the next teacher comes."
Class *singing* together
"Okay Mam"
"Good, copy down the sums I displayed on the board, and practice them during the Dussehra vacation."
Class *sighs*
Next up we had English 1 which means English grammar.
Yup, our lovely school divided English into English 1 which is English grammar and English 2 which is English Literature.
They say it's for our good.
Honestly, I don't see ANY good in having ANOTHER exam to write.
Oh, and both of them have two separate teachers.
Our English 1 teacher was particularly nasty.
Amazing, isn't it?! *eyes rolling*
Her name is Ms Shilpa.
"Good Morning students! Please remove your English classwork from your bags, and start copying the sentences written on the board. You have to convert them from active voice to passive voice"
Last 5 mins of class.
"Okay students, now please note down your holiday homework."
Class together gives a chorus.
"Maaaaaaaaaaaaam!"
"Keep your mouths shut and note it down.NOW!"
"Ok, you all have to finish Practice Papers 5,6,7,8,9 and 10 and submit them on reopening day. You will pick one composition from each and it's the same with the letters and rest of them you have to write everything."
"Oh I just remembered, YOU HAVE TO COPY THE QUESTIONS."
"Thank you, class. Happy holidays!"
She walks out of the class door and nonchalantly walks out of the room as if nothing happened.
In my mind.....
SHE TOLD US TO COPY THE QUESTIONS.
SHE TOLD US TO WRITE FIVE COMPOSITIONS.
SHE TOLD HAPPY HOLIDAYS. AFTER RUINING THEM.
IS SHE A HUMAN?!
ARE WE WRITING MACHINES?!
I guess we are!
YAY!
