they stop giggling, looking at each other
breaking contact
"hey i was wondering why lila did this in the first place" devon says
"maybe she just wants us to get closer or something?" jake says shrugging his shoulder
"we have been closer idiot" devon says , chuckling
"about that, i know it's been years but i still really like you" jake says looking up to devon.
"really? i thought you were completely over me" devon says smiling
"how could i be, your perfect devon" jake says holding devon's hand from under the table
"your really corny that's what i love about you" devon says, smiling.
"come here" devon says, pulling jake into a kiss.
cheers coming from people on the sides of them.
"look what we started"
"yup.
3 years later .
"come on devon i want to check out the garden !!" jake says hurrying his boyfriend who was in the bathroom.
"ok ok i'm almost done, i need to look good" devon says fixing the way his sweater hanged
"you look perfect baby , come onnn" jake says losing his patience by each second.
"fine fine" devon walks out kissing jake.
they arrive
"whoa" devon says look down at all the flowers.
"it's perfect we came during sunset" jake says looking into the sky.
devon turns to see jake admiring the sky.
"baby let's go over there" jake points at a small white plat form, with a broken fancy roof.

"okay, anything for you" devon gets pulled by jake.
devon didn't notice lila and a camera crew recording them the whole time.
jake kisses devon once they meet on the play form, it was a few seconds but it was soft.
"you remember this place?" jake asks
"no, why?" devon says, confused.
"this was where our first date was" jake said looking down at devon
"wow, it's so different" devon says
" i wanted to make this special" jake said, grabbing something from his pocket.
"what special" devon asks watching, jake go down on a knee.
"devon baby will you marry me?" jake says smiling, worried of course.
"yes omg yes" devon says smiling so hard.
once jake stands up, devon pulls him into a hug
"i love you so much" devon says putting his head into jakes chest crying ever so slightly.
"i love you too." jake says kissing the top of his head.
"SURPRISE" lila says hugging them both
"lila omg" devon realizes it was planned
"YOU PLANNED THIS ALL OUT?" devon says slightly shouting
"OF COURSE?" lila says, smiling with confusion in her tone.
"let me see the photos" jake says looking down at rhe camera screen.
few months later
the wedding ended, they were driving off to the airport.
"i'm so glad we will be together forever baby" jake says.
"me too" devon says smiling.
they got their happy ending
the happy ending they deserved.
