18th August, 2008.... A chubby boy stepped on the cricket field with a grit passion and determination to make his country win in every situation. He was determined to make his late father proud of him. His achievements. He never knew he'll become the heart beat of many people across India.
I am one such person. Coincidentally I started watching cricket from 2016 WC that Ind vs Ban match which ended with a runout. And 2016 IPL needs no mention. He became my favorite since then aling with RCB. When I started understanding cricket better, I liked many players, like Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Bhuvi, Jaddu etc etc basically whole ICT. But no one took the place of Kohli.
When he left captaincy I know how much tears I have shed. I know Rohit is capable or even better captain than him, but he's not Virat Kohli for me. Rohit is Rohit, special in his own way.
I know every year on his birthday, I used to pray that he scores tons and tons of runs. Still people think I don't speak loud, ask my classmates even 4-5 boys shouting can't win the debate from me that Kohli is not the best.
He'll never read it... But this is the only place I have so I've poured down my emotions for such a man, seeing whom I am full of confidence. He is on my lock screen wallpaper, homescreen wallpaper,whatsapp wallpaper and in my heart forever....
