The suburb area is mostly populated with modern homes. Most home-owners are not a fan of the stray cats, and shoo them away or place traps in their yards. Trash days, however, can be a jackpot for many. Every Thursday night, each house places their large garbage bins at the end of their driveway, because come Friday morning, the garbage truck will come and take the trash. So, Thursday nights are a feast for animals. Not only cats, but also street dogs, raccoons, and any coyote brave enlighten to venture into the area.

The streets are mostly kept clean, but there are some littering items here and there. There's lots of car traffic, and it is very possible to get hit, so cross carefully. There are some house cats that are allowed to roam this area, but they're almost always tagged with a collar.

There is one house, owned by a sweet elderly couple, who are nice to the cats and allow them to sleep on their porch. Neighbors are very bothered by this and tend to leave out poison. Some cats can be possessive over this porch, the elderly couple will sometimes leave some leftovers out for them.
