The Downtown area is densely populated. There are not many homes, but there are many shops. The cafe, the meat market, and the hotdog stand are a few favorites, as they're the most willing to hand-off unwanted food and cuts to the strays. As long as they keep the rat population down, that is.
The streets are dirty, full of trash and anything filthy. There are many homeless that sleep on random parts of the sidewalks. Some are nice, some are not.
The alleyways that keep dumpsters house many strays, especially the one just outside the cities main cafe, named 'CreekPoint Cafe'. Most of their foods are baked in bulk, and whatever isn't sold must be thrown out. Some cats are possessive over this alley.
There are, however, many dumpsters in this area, and lots of good stuff to find. Behind the pizzeria is another favorite.
