Rayan's P.O.V

-I head into the locker room to shower and notice Blain grabs his backpack, slinging it over his shoulder, starting to leave.

"Hay, listen thanks for today I defiantly feel more confident on free style." I try to think of something else to say but nothing comes out. Why is this so hard dammit?

"Uh, you're welcome." He looks at me, "Is there something else you needed?"

I stammer "W,wwell I don't think so." He turns to go, now's my chance "Hay, Blain, do you think you want to come over Friday I was going to spend the night at Eddie's house but he's gotten the flue?"

"Always nice to know I'm second choice but no thanks I'm staying home. There playing Singing in the Rain and it's my favorite movie sorry."

"Well that's not what I meant."

"No, no it's fine trust me I get it all the time." I hate myself for saying that, It makes me seem so stupid. "See ya tomorrow then?"

"Defiantly." I muster and head back to change defeated.

I let the soapy water run down my back. What in the hell is happening to me. I've never felt this way before, it's almost like when I'm around him I feel sick, but there's something about him that's just so addicting. Those piercing blue eyes and perfect smile. The way he runs his fingers through his beautiful auburn hair, the way his dimples flash when he smiles. God he's so beautiful.

Running my fingers through my hair I let all the soap slide down my back again and stand with one hand on the wall, and my eyes closed. What was all this nervous energy about. I am for the most part confident, why now all of the sudden am I so fucking tongue tied. I have no idea what would even make me feel better or more calm, I need to think about this before I do anything drastic.

Reaching my car I yank oped the door and slide into the leather seats. Shoving the key in the ignition music instantly blares and I turn it down a few clicks before heading towards the school. I wish I didn't make myself look like so much of an ass in front of Blain. For some reason I just want to make him feel like he is included in stuff. He really just walks around the school from class to class by himself. I never see him with anyone other than the team and that is only a brief conversation about something swim related. He would be a great coach if only he knew what abilities he really had, maybe he would be more confident about making friends.

Rayan shrugged off the notion and focused on the big test he had coming up. He hoped to pass it but even more hoped he could make up whatever he did to Blaine that was making him so weird around him. After all the had known each other for as long as they had been in school. Blaine was never like this, a little shy maybe but never like this. He wondered what he could do, and then he had an idea.
