BRIGHT POV:

"Well , I guess he's totally whipped," I heard Mew speak beside me.

"Who?" I ask.

"Vee," he said.

"What makes you say that all of a sudden?" I asked sipping my cold coffee in the canteen of the college.

"Well, look straight ahead of you and you'll know," he said sipping his lemon mint mojito.

I looked and found Vee talking to Mark, our classmate from school.

"I couldn't agree more," I said, smirking.

After that, Vee came to our table and sat down on the chair opposite to ours.

"What's up?" he said.

"Someone is head over heels in love with Mark", Mew said.

"Oh, well", Vee said rubbing the back of his nape.

I laughed and just then my phone buzzed. I picked it up and saw a message from a group chat and also saw a message from Win from earlier, which I must have missed.

I immediately opened it.

'Thank you so much for the flowers! I loved them. Specially the note and the chocolates. You definitely know how to brighten my day and mood'.

I smiled, knowing he liked the little surprise I had planned for her.

I texted back and then looked up and saw those two idiots looking at me.

"Mew, you were talking about me being in love. Look! We have got one more right here," Vee said smirking.

"I know, right!" Mew said.

"Shut up guys!" I said.

"hasn't he said yes yet?" Mew said.

"Nope, but I won't give up," I said, smiling.

"Bright, you know you can have anyone you want. So why are you still after him, knowing that he is just making  you wait.?". Mew asked.

"Well, he's the one I really Love and I am reading to do anything for him, if that means waiting, I am ready to wait".

"God, both  my boys are whipped!" Mew said and we both laughed.

Just then, my phone buzzed with a text from Win.

Win: Are you free? can you meet me in the same park where we had gone that day?

Bright: Sure. I am on my way, but what happened? Anything serious?.

Win: Everything's fine, Don't worry. Drive safe.

I hurried to the park and reached there after almost a hour. Well, thanks to the traffic.

I texted Win that I had arrived and he directed me to the bridge. I moved towards the bridge and as I walked, my heart was beating faster. What could it be?.

I saw him standing there already, facing the other side. He was wearing a simple black bottom up shirt with his sunglasses and his hair was beautifully flying due to the air, he is the cutest creature, i just liked the way he is now.

"Win, " I called as I took a step on the bridge.

He slowly turned towards me with a beautiful smile on his face.

"Bright", he started," I would like to tell you that I love you and will you be my boyfriend?" he said the words so quickly that I couldn't understand anything.

"What?" I sounded confused. "Hey! why are you so nervous? Say it slowly." I said, going close to him and took his hand, held into mine's.

He took a deep breath.

"Bright, I am saying that I am sorry I couldn't organize an amazing proposal plan like yours, but I wanted to tell you that I really love you, Will you be mine?", he asked, turning red.

I was dumbstruck at his confession and linked my eyes to make sure he had actually said it.

I looked at Win again, looking at me nervously.

I smiled a big grind or probably the biggest grin that was possible and I almost shouted, "I love you too, Win!"

He smiled happily and in an instant, he left my hands and put his arms around my neck and hugged me tightly.

I was taken aback, but soon I recovered and hugged him back, as tightly I could. I held him close to me and it was definitely one of the best feelings ever!.
